He is taken aback, and... speechless for a moment. "Shit. ....shit." He whispers.

Brekke welcomes Frank's reassuring support.

Nadeen puts an arm around Dagmar "let's get you home. I'm sorry. I was so unfair to you"

Sylvi's jaw drops. "Oh...Oh, wow. Nadeen, I'm so sorry...."

"Oh, Dagmar...."

"Yeah...yeah, it's time to get you back...."

"Yeah, okay."

After Aiden has had a word with the thanes, they are helping Kenna to secure Lord Gildas. A CRACK resounds, and officer/Thane Danica looks up, and shrugs. "Sorry. Sidhe are fragile. His arm will heal. Naturally, I am sure."

Police brutality? Perhaps. But is anyone going to argue?

Sylvi looks deeply concerned as she walks back with the others to where the Chieftain and Frank stand.

Care is also taken to see that the Balor lord is escorted off their land, along with his entourage.

"We are ready?" Brekke asks of the others.

Kenna looks at Thane Dancia "More's the pity it would be tacky to try to steal you away from the Baron..." A sigh

Dagmar follows along, stiff and sullen.

"Just a loan, I'm afraid." Wolfish teeth flashed to the new Freeholder.

Nadeen is comforting Dagmar, odd perhaps, but it seems to help hold HER own tears back. Helping others is a way to distract yourself from your own pain. She's sure the Hearth or Chief or Mounain taught her that... but she's not going to give credit where it's due at this time

The Chieftain notes the troubled expressions on the wilders. A nod. "Yes...let us go home."

Kenna smiles "Well, please visit, and should you have a cousin availble of similar mind set, let me know"

"Chieftain...I'm not going to go back right away," Sylvi says, glancing to Colton before continuing. "I need to settle some things here. But I'll be down tomorrow. Let my folks know, please?"

Brekke nods, though she may actually rely on Frank to communicate that message.

And those who are heading back return to the trod.

And soon Brekke and her enterouge are returned to Rivervale

Meanwhile, Sylvi turns to Colton. "I'm not going to just head out without getting stuff in order for Chieftain Hewitt first. But...I do want to go home." Apologetic.

Colton nods "I understand. I'm going to miss you" he kisses her "But I get it. They need you too"

Bluebell shakes her head as they head back, disliking the violence... and yet she agreed to come with to witness. "Red flowers bloom upon the snow, with such unpleasant smell. Yet where they grow, we now shall know, a pleasanter bloom may grow as well."

She says in a singsong voice, as Silverwolf, + one extra redcap, return home.

She returns the kiss, then gives him a serious look. "How do you feel about the whole sub-Chieftain thing?"

Gwen helps cart the extra redcap "That's a pretty song"

Colton says "I like the idea of more of you in my life. I think we'd eventually butt heads but that's normal" A smile "And I think he couldn't do better for the job than you. " then he says "But how I feel shouldn't be your deciding factor"

"No. It shouldn't. I'm still deciding how I feel about it." A sigh. "Let's get back. I need to finish some paperwork and reschedule a couple of things."

Colton takes her arm "Yes, my lady" And kisses her hand before heading off with her "Whatever you decide, I'll support you"

She smiles at the kiss. "Thanks. That means a lot." She leans against him as they return to DarkGate.

"It does. Damn. I'm an amazing boyfriend. I must have been taught well" a sage nod impersonalitng Frank's beard waggle in the gesture... though his facial hair is not up to par

She rolls her eyes and gives him a light punch in the shoulder.

He chuckles "Well, I'm all right" A snuggle back and they make it to dark gate
