Hardbliss eyes the new Freeholder and considers, then eyes Kenna's options of Champions, "It would appear things are settled, albeit it not to my satisfaction, but I am no fool. When a door slams in ones face, one should take the hint from fate." He hisses and looks to the Chieftain , then to Nadeen, then to Kenna "I do not know who to blame for this brilliant theft of OUR theft, but I can't deny the skill of the play. Brava. And. speaking for myself... I hope to never tangle with any of you" A nod to Aiden at that too

Symon is quite content to lurk behind the blue wall and not gain any attention there.

Brekke merely nods agreement -- he is right to hope so.

Aiden raises his hands, then lowers them, and the protocol - that which was still in place - fades.

She turns to Aiden again. "Baron, thank you. This matter is finally settled, with your help."

"Dark Gate has born witness" Sir Colton says . He's got his stoic face on.

He nods to her. "Falcons and Dragons seldom make good bedfellows, but it seems that perhaps, we may share the skies." Though a flicker of a glance towards Nadeen indicates that perhaps a Sun is more his taste. "Thank you for bringing this one to well-deserved justice. I will gladly await any report of your future 'duels'."

"I saw it too! It was WICKED COOL!" Briar proclaims!

"You will hear of them," Brekke confirms to Aiden. A somber nod to Colton...and a slight grin to Briar.

Gwen mutters "A blow that hard might have cracked MY skull" Still in awe and having that mix of hero worship insecure comparison a lot of young trolls get seeing Brekke in action

Assistance, is accepted.

Thane Linnea straightens up, pulling her attention from where she was scanning the contingent from Dark Gate, and offers healing to the Baroness Brekke, with a hand on her heart trollish bow.

She will also take the time to introduce Fledgeling Troll Gwen to the Troll Baroness before they depart!

Brekke accepts the offer of healing.

She is wounded, but not terribly so.

Kenna does say to the Chieftain "Please, at sometime, allow you and yours to come to my hospitality. Squire Brogan would tell you, not ALL Daireann are such petty fools, nor so cruel."

Dagmar has stalked off to the treeline, getting some solitude.

Gwen gulps.. as she's moved forward. the Amerindian teenager with the stone like skin tries not to stare or stammer "An.. an honor" She salutes the Chieftain

And Nadeen looks for Symon, motioning in Dagmar's direction

Frank is approaching Brekke too.

The salute from Gwen was in the old style. Not the noble bows of sidhe

"Thank you, Lady Kenna, we will do so." And she returns Gwen's salute with a serious air.

Then she turns to Frank.

Symon is at Dagmar's side. "Hey, sorry I flaked out on you earlier. Super secret spy stuff. Sidhe and Sluagh collusion."

"Saw some of it."

The Liam takes Brekke's hand, simply holding it.

"You'll get your chance. Sorry you didn't get to bash him first."

Nadeen moves to Aiden and takes his arm with her hand "I am... thank you. Are you.." She lowers her voice "Are you sure about your offer of resources? It is over after all"

Aiden has moved to Nadeen's side, meeting her even as she stepped to his. "Baroness Dancingsnow... " He struggles for a moment to find words. "Did you find the resolution to meet your approval?" Resting his hand lightly atop hers on his arm.

"You know what he did?"

Brekke meets Frank's look and simply nods.

"He killed 10 mortals. Tried to kill your animals. Tried to kill my dad." Looking up at Dagmar, questioning.

"...Yeah. He did that." She kicks the ground.

Frank is still frowning.

Brekke turns again to look for her people...who seem to be scattered all over.

"What else?" His eyes narrow. "Dagmar, tell me."

"In truth? No. Dagmar, my best friend aches. Once again, a hold that could fall into my hand falls into another. My parents..." A cough "I am without certain individuals that I will miss far more than I thought. But in the end, my patterns triumphed. A conniving Countess has lost face and more. A Daireann noble who was a foe is replaced by one who owes me. " Nadeen says "I am triumphant, if not directly, by din of allies greater than I deserve. You are an Ailil, did I play the game well?"

"I said I wouldn't tell. Dunno if I'm allowed yet."

She fidgets again, trying to do something with her hands when the urge is to rip and rend and break.

Brekke sees her folks ARE Scattered a lot. Nadeen with the Baron Aiden. Dagggmar and Symon gone. Anne Marie seems to be breathing slow as if recovering with relief.

The Baron's eyes search Nadeen's face, watching her expression and listening. It takes him a moment to make the connection, and his cool mask cracks around the edges. Without regard for the strangers surrounding, he enfolds her into his arms, offering comfort, should she take it. "Nadeen, I grieve that you have felt such loss. ...you have done well, and yet no victory shall ever restore them. You will always have a home at Silverwolf, should you wish it."

Symon nods to Dagmar. "Let's go back to Darkgate. I want to see you take on that fighting automaton, and I picked up a few cues from Gildas that you can use when you do his beatdown. I'm sure the Chief will give you a turn or three."

Nadeen looks into his eyes "I do wish it, but it ..forgive, a gradual transition perhaps. Mortal affairs must be settled, and beyond that, Rivervale's needs. " She looks up at him "Aiden, I... we should speak some place more privately about the rest. Within the week if you allow?"

Grunt. Nod.

He nods, gently withdrawing. "You are in a fragile time of transition. Do not feel you must make any decision. Just know that if there is anything you need... you need only say the word."

Bluebell and Julius greet Ann Marie, and the satyr offers her a thermos. "Strong tea, with a nip against the cold. Our own Steward's blend."
