Dagmar bites on her lip.

Gildas says "You all but hand me over to winter"

Brekke regards Aiden with a new degree of respect.

"You agreed to abide by my ruling." His voice a sharp lash. "And then you have broken the Escheat by disrespecting the law of my Demesne. My ruling is thus... and does not break the escheat."

"Baron Aiden, that is most gracious. I will choose to fight on behalf of Lady Kenna first. And for the rest -- I am aware that I stand at the front of a long line of those who seek vengeance against Lord Gildas. In the remaining ten battles, do I have your leave to allow one or two to be completed by others who have claim against him?"

Nadeen beams at Aiden with open admiration, "One should never try to out legal an Ailil, Lord Gildas. "

He nods graciously. "I will allow it, should they be valid claimants to injury." It seems that he intends to enforce that rather loosely.

"I have claim."

"My champion will fihgt on my..." he gapes ans realizes his redcap is out cold

He eyes Kenna "you drugged her!"

"The Gwydions will attest to the truth of it. I did not drug your Champion. who, redcap or not, is a better lady than you deserve"

Kenna responds with a smile

Brekke listens for the truth of it.

Briar has clambered over and is slapping the second on the cheeks, none-too-gently, to see if she will wake.

True!

"She speaks truth. She did not drug your second."

Dame Chompwhomp is out cold. her clothes smell kind of funny .. like Chlroform and Potpourri

She snores

That IS curious. But, Briar is more interested in the FIGHTING promised... and plops down to sit on her chest and watch. "SHe ain't dead!"

Gildas snarls "Then.. fine. Heal me..and let us begin a new" he is only partly healed "I will not give up my bale without a fight"

"Then...if you will excuse us...we have some matters to complete." She steps back into range of Gildas again.

A look to Aiden to see if he will insist on Gildas being healed completely.

Hardbliss observes and whispers to his compatriots something Symon hears 'I could admire this if it hadn't just costt me a hold. Damn it'

"Lady Kenna, with Baroness Shacklebreaker's permission, and authorized by the Pennons you bear, I sanction your duel... when your turn comes due."

"Lord Gildas, you are upright, and cognizant - to the extent that this may be claimed. The duel may commence."

"Bah!" And the Daireann swings at the Chieftain striking her in the shoulder!

Kenna observes , the Pennons in her hand glowing, indeed, the falcon on it looks SMUG

"Baron Aiden..." Brekke clarifies, even as she takes the hit and strikes back "...I intend this..." another strike "...to be Lady Kenna's claim duel."

He nods, and backs away as the duel proceeds. "Just so."

And a sudden fierce fury of strikes, BAM BAM BAM BAM!

Gwen munches popcorn , Briar's popcorn unless the younger redcap wants to share or take it back

Speed of that sort was NOT expected! Block.. partial block.. failed block... failed dodge!

Bones crack, the man screams...

He thrusts weakly with the last of his strength . Too proud or stupid to yield and lose his hold by surrender. Daireann dont' back away from fights. Something one can admire.. maybe

Briar is so excited by the fight, that she doesn't even eat!

Her reach is longer than his. His thrust does not land. Hers does. Right between his eyes.

And the wood shatters his skull... chimerically speaking. One moment there is a surprised sidhe lord full of rage and desperation. The next, a comatose man in a polo shirt and khaki pants

Dagmar spits.

Brekke frowns, and lowers her weapon.

A shiver of banality at taking the chimerical life goes along the Gwydion's spine, nothing she can't handle with a bit of bale time..and with it, a sense of justice.

For Something else flows from the downed man... to Kenna, a circlet forming in her hand

Brekke closes her eyes a long moment, taking on the weight of banality. Then she looks over to Dagmar. "I am sorry. I thought he would last for one more."

Frank frowns, and almost moves forward. He does not, however; he stays in place.

Shrug.

Kenna folds the Pennons carefully, and hands it to Nadeen . Some agreement was in place here

Gwen whispers to Briar "I only understand half of this"

The Baron gives a bow to Lady Kenna, that of an equal. "Freeholder. Are you satisfied with the outcome of this portion of the duel?"

Briar chirps back, "Who cares? It's a good show!"

Freeholder Kenna returns the bow "I am, and I am in the debt of both Chieftain Brekke, and yourself, Baron Aiden. I will not forget. " A look to Dame Dagmar "I expect Gildas will try to flee when he remembers himself. If you wish, I will take care of him until then in MY dungeon. And when he revives, send word to you he's ready for his next fight"

Brekke nods at that. "Dame Dagmar deserves her turn."

Aiden looks to Baron Hardbliss. "Have you further business that needs to be settled upon the dueling ring? You may petition the Baronesses Shacklebreaker and Kenna if you wish to take part in their justice, or seek your own duel with... whatever is left."
