"She's probably worried about how they'll make it" Lut speaks up "I think everyone is worried. Jonas is busting his hump on remote work and willing to be the stay at home. Piper is looking for a regular job. Siv is at the Mariana a lot"

"That's part of it." she gives a slight shrug "Not my business, of course."

"She's your sister, you've got buttinski rights" Tig says

"Doesn't mean I have to use them." she points out.

"This is true" Lut nods "But Siv is a bit odd... she might actually be touched at you asking how she's doing and so on"

"Fair point."

"Anyway, our quest CAN wait" Tig nods

"We'll manage." Jess says firmly "I wouldn't offer if we couldn't."

"I noticed. Of course she knows were aren't questioning it, not really, but point of pride for her" Lut agrees

Jess snorts softly.

At the snort, they let small smiles slip

"it's appreciated, Jessica. We'll let you know if we take you up on it" Lut says "And let us know if you need two strong backs in case the weather gets really bad here. Okay?"

"I will." she agrees.

They nod and keep eating "This is really good" Lut admits

"The ladies are very good." she says loyally.

"do I die if I say it could use more paprika?" Tig jokes

"Depends on if you say it outloud in front of Maria and Rosa and then eat here again."

"Although, you probably wouldn't -die.- Exactly."

Tig snerks "Fair warning"

She gives him a look that suggests she is NOT kidding.

He sobers "Okay, that serious eh?"

"And rightfully so. They send things regularly to Rivervale, and vice versa."

Lut nods "We need to remember when we leave to ask if they'd like us to take anything to Kerri"

"Yes." She says.

They enjoy the meal and Nancy returns "Hey Jessica. message delivered. You want me to wait over there until he responds?"
