"See, she thinks you're old too" Tig says whehter that was what Jessica meant or not

Lut rolls his eyes, then says "Anyway, our quest isn't anything too fancy. We're just looking for a gift for the baby shower for Siv Piper and Jonas"

"We got plenty of time" Tig nods

"A shopping quest? Here?" dubious.

"Well, beach combing and coast questing too" Lut answers

"Ok. Be aware, we're at war on the coast, too, and they won't care if you're not from Renaissance."

"This just got exciting" Tig raises a brow

"Thanks for the head's up" Lut nods

"Guys, we're trying to cool things down, ok? Besides, this storm is going to put a dent in things."

"Storm?" Tig looks around "Crap, is the Chief here?"

A sigh. "No, Tig. The hurricane?"

"Ahhh the Hurricane..." Tig winces

"Did you not check the weather?" Lut looks at Tig "You told me you'd cover that"

"I forgot. Besides, a Hurricane on the pacific, isnt' that rare?" Tig clearly did not check

"It is. Very."

"Come to that...." she ponders "Can you guys hang out for a minute?" She gets up and goes to a desk for pen and paper.

"Sure" They nod after a troll mental converence with each other

Jessica writes a note quickly and looks around for someone to carry it.

Nancy is putting away her phone , walking by

"Nancy?"

"Hey, sorry, was making some calls to make sure we're braced for hurricane troubles. Wha'ts up?"

"Can you take this to Constance and have her give it a once over and then take her version to Baron Tidemarch? Promptly; if Constance is, um, unavailable, just take this."

"She's available" Nancy says "Satyr speed on it's way" She takes the note and races towards Constance

"Thanks!" she calls after and rejoins her visitors "Sorry about that."

"It's all good. " Lut says "We were just checking out weather reports ... like we should have earlier" A brow at Tig

"Oh let it go" Tig mutters

"Just be careful if you go to the beach."

"We will" Lut says

Then food pours in

Lut and Tig look at the food "They do know there are only 3 of us , right?"

((The note essentially tells the Baron that 1) if he needs help with the storm coming, please let her know and 2) she would like for him to look for opportunities to create a peace in the ocean; the Mer and the mainland Nunnehi might need help when the storm hits and after and she wants to take advantage of that if she can.))

Jess joins them to eat a bit.

Lut takes it slower than Tig "Look, if this is a bad time for us questing here, maybe we should instead help you with hurricane prep?"

"We've been watching it come, pretty sure we're ready. That's the upside to a hurricane; they're slow and you can see them coming."

Tig nods "Yeah, we can just shop like normal people for Jonivper's babies"

The word 'babies' plural might catch notice

The King's eyebrow. "Babies?"

"They're going to have twins" Tig says "Man.. crazy huh?"

"Whoever heard of twins?" Lut says wryly

Jess looks grave. "Huh."

"Not good news we're giving?" Tig asks
