It takes a minute, maybe a full shower is best, dry off and dress.... no matter, so she's ready to go (her maul got some care too). She'll go looking for an update from Diego and Constance.

She finds Siv talking to Diego

"No, Siv, no one was hurt. La Cernicala saved us from one bomb, the other was a dud" Diego assures

Jess is content to wait; no need to intrude although she doesn't hide either.

"Oh, hey sis. Turns out La Cernicala gave her life to save everyone" Siv says "She exists only as a story now"

"May her memory be a blessing." Jessica says soberly.

"Yes. Diego. I need to talk to the Countess, but i suspect she is going to ask you some of the same tthinggs I did" Siv says

"Diego chuckles "Of course, she loves the people" he looks to Jessica "I was just saying no one was hurt. In fact, most don't know about the dud in the town hall. There is some mourrning for our fallen heroine. Father V has offered to do a service"

Jessica nods. "Very kind of him."

"What else would you know?" Diego inquires

"I'd still like to do a. sit-down and talk about the town hall."

"I'm still so stunned you'r so casual about the bombing, but go on, Jessica. I'm listenin. Should I get us all some wine while we talk?"

"Oh, no, I can wait until you and Siv are done. And we should have Constance join us."

"Well, I'll go get constance so you and your sister can talk then" the satyr says "Good seeing you, Siv. Always a pleasure" And he trrots off

Siv waves, then, now alone with her sister, says "We need to talk about the fact there was a real bomb planted. Don't you thihnk?"

"If you like." she takes a seat.

Siv sits "If it was just after La Cernicala, well, that's MY prroblem and a minor problem for you.. in that someone was defying your arrest only rule. if it was meant to go off in the townhhall, that is of greater concern to you for it threatened your people"

Jess nods. "Those are good points, yes. I will be looking into it."

"If I may suggest? though you probably thought of itt- Regentt Mitra has Chronos, she can look backwards if you send her to the town hall soon. Of course, it could give clues to who La Cernicala was , but.. that's not as important as stopping a terrorist."

"I will speak to her about it."

"Good. I'll look into the detective spying side of things" She says

"And.. thank you. Was not looking foward to being in a coma"

"Welcome. No need to look into it. Probably best if you don't, all things considered. I have people who can handle it, but thank you."

"You sure? Not like I need to wear my own skin to snoop. And I am trained .. I'm no sir Magnus or Zara... but I can be sneaky "

"I know. And yes, I'm sure."

"As you think best then" She acquiesces "Is there anything I can do for you, now that La Cernicala is funeral bound?"

"Closed casket, I would think.... no, thank you. You'll be heading home?"

"Much as what I want to do is help you out, maybe mend bridges with you and me... and Nancy, I know your first focus is your people and I would be an unwelcome distraction. Also I should probably help patrol at home. With Gerd taking up for Sally Mae, we're down a regular troll"

"Everything ok with Sally Mae?" while she doesn't know the kinain that well, Rivervale is still very much a topic of interest.

"Oh, oh my. You wouldn't know" Siv realizes "Oh my , no, she was cursed, cursed on Carnival..." And she shares the story as she knows it

Jessica is frowning by the time Siv finishes. She exhales. "As much as I'd like to -do- something.... pretty sure Kerri's on it. Ok. Good to know."

"I know" Sympathetic and agreeing "I wish I could do more too. " She ponders "on other news... Tig seems a bit besotted, only on him it registers as confusion"

A nod. "Good for him." she stands "I should get to work. Safe travels home."

A brow, then "Sure. Dad will be trucking soon. " She rises "Any messages you wantt me to pass back to folks in Bergen?"

"My love to everyone."

A smile "I shall tell them." She smiles "Good fortune to your people and to you, Countess and Sister"

"Thank you. Same to you and all."

She gives a troll salute rather thann a bow, perhaps thinking her sister will preefer it, and withdraws

Diego is in the doorway "that went well?"

"Well enough. I need to delay our talk though. I have to talk to Dame Mitra. Can you excuse me?"

"I.. " He says "Well, I DID just set up the parlor for Constance, yourself, annd I. But I'm sure she can forgive you"

"I'm sorry, it's time-sensitive. I'll be back as quick as I can."

"Ah, be well. I'll have Ellie issue a decree for a new parliment while you're gone" A wink

She gives him a dry look. "Tell you what.... if we can send a message to Mitra and ask her to come here as soon as possible, we can at least start our meeting."

"That we can do, Phobos loves his heralding"

And soon, Phobos is off to YELL at Mitra..eerr ask her to come

Constance is wearing black

Jess is wearing.... well, work clothes. "Everyone is ok?"

"No casualties or even injuries, besides La Cernicala" Constance sighs

"She was a hero" A nod from Diego "the childlings will be heart broken"
