She shakes her head dolefully "I need crayons. And I don't want to ask anyone for them 'cause they'll make fun. Or ask questions. And the bombs are more important."

"Mm. I saw some here...." She goes back to where she found the paper, and brings over the box of crayons found there. (Of course the childlings would have these stashed throughout the hold.)

Yes, purple ones plenttiful

"They have them in here too?" Jess sighs and takes them, "Thank you. For the record, this is the -last- most important thing but....." she settles down to draw.

"One thing that can be handled now, though. And then it will be one less thing."

She stands quietly nearby as Jessica draws.

It's hard not to be adorable when you're small with a crayon in your hand and pigtails in your hair

It takes her a few tries; some torn up and some crumpled balls of paper on the carpet before she is satisfied.

She nods and makes small encouraging comments at the failed attempts.

Brekke looks at it. "Who is this?"

"That's stupid Holger and Ellie and that's Juliana. She's a friend of theirs, a Dreamer. I had to destroy some dross she made that I was going to give to them from her, but I thought maybe this would... not make up for it or be the same but.... an apology."

"Hm." She nods. "I think that is a very good gesture." A pause. "Perhaps also not calling Holger 'stupid'?"

"Yes, mom."

She nods. "Now...a nap."

"Mom! I can't!! Did you hear the part about the BOMB?" exasperated "I have to go see what Mitra and Diego found out."

"Twenty minutes. You can nap for twenty minutes. Then you will hear what they have learned."
