"That's a good point, Ariel. The Farm needs him. After all, he's a DeBuke. Well!" Jessica nods. "Enjoy the desserts. I have to go speak with a few other people."

"Too full for ice cream?" Salma is aghast.

"I know..." Sadness.

The benches have padding and pillows, why if one got too full, they could just lay down for a bit.

...and the tiniest tabby, curled up on one of said pillows.

"...did someone come for ice cream?" Salma coos.

"How does she DO that?" Ariel giggles

"I don't know, silly baby..." Ellie sits down on the bench, to pick up the kitten for cuddles.

"well, she's not the cutest kitten so I guess she'll be the most adventerous" Ariel says

"Hush!" Salma makes as though to cover her ears. "They are all cutest Gatitos."

"Ooh" She says covering her mouth "Sorry."

Vaeltilde says "oh she's lovely"

Salma leans in and croons to the tabby. She has no voice to speak of but for a lullaby, it's sweet enough.

"In ingles, it may not rhyme." Thoughtful.

"I will try, but I am no good teacher. I just... remember it, si? Someone sang it to Salma when she was a little burra and could not sleep."

It is Piper who is approached by ... Baron Tidemarch.

She is a bit surprised, and bows to the Baron. "Good evening - are you enjoying the music, sir? Um. Lord." She fumbles but corrects to the correct address.

"I did enjoy much of it," he nods "Yours was a surprise to me. I know your kith are undisputed masters of music, but still, not what I was expecting from a troll lodge. I understand you are not seeking to be a troubadour to this place? Is that correct or have I misheard?"

She has had a couple drinks, and while not tipsy, per say, she is definitely feeling a little more talkative than at other times, and still riding the high of the music.

"I really hadn't thought so. That is, it wasn't my intent. I moved to Rivervale not too long ago, and it's really been growing on me. But Fenix is... it's lovely, and reminds me of where I grew up. I can see what draws so many here to try for the position."

"And you in particular seemed to thrive upon the attention," The Varich says "It is good to have something that stirs you. The music a part, the crowd's adoration another I suspect? Or perhaps not adoration so much as.. appreciation. You earned it. Should you ever wish a position at Court, I am sure you will have no trouble."

She bows again, turning a little pink at the praise. "I appreciate the vote of confidence, Lord Tidemarch. I... do love to play, and who doesn't like a little appreciation from time to time?"

"You said this place reminded you of where you grew up? Might one inquire? Accents are varied, but you sound Californian to me. What part, assuming I am right?"

"My parents live outside of San Francisco, but I've spent a bit of time on the road, my former trag' - that is, motley, traveled up and down the coast." Slightly on guard now, though she maintains a casual tone, and after a slight hesitation, settles on less is more with her answer.

"The Duchy of the Golden Gate, I've been there. An amazing city , a patchwork of cultural ideals and efforts with dreamers aplenty"
