For I am a peace loving lord" And he withdraws as protocal allows... and slips! it would appear some melted ice cream was spilled where he stepped... while he does not fall on his face, he slides and his dignity is damaged as he grabs for a table cloth and accidently dumps food on his leggings.

No one will laugh unless the countess does, thoguh it is proper to grin ,or perhaps give a light tee hee

Salma sighs sadly. "Such a waste of ice cream. Boo on him."

And then, she turns away - ignoring him. The protocol fades.

The Fiona snorts and leaves entirely

Adam grins hugely, then laughs.

"Phoebe, though you are not the troubadour - that doesn't mean you can't be part of Fenix!"

Phoebe smiles "Wait until the Countess Jessica says more. It's only proper"

Piper blinks - a shiver as the protocol fades away. She rubs her arms, as though to clear off a chill. And looks to Phoebe. "I'm so sorry. I shouldn't have - it wasn't my place to say who you talked to."

Phoebe says "it's.. it's okay. I... no I am not a .. a strong woman."

"Hey....." Adam will help Piper up off the floor if she's still kneeling.

"He was wrong to hurt you. It's like Hans of the Southern Isles - sometimes, being fake nice is being mean."

"That is a very good lesson" Dame Ash says

She purses her lips. "He... " A blink at the small countess. "You just about have the right of it. And I shouldn't have gotten in his face at a party. He just made me so... oooh." A hoof stomps now that protocol allows. "If I'd had my druthers, I'd spin him in a circle and hex him to seek whatever it is he truly loves, and watch him scrabble on the floor trying to - (a quick change of words here) -make out with his wallet, or the countess's throne. He just loves whatever is gonna get him ahead fastest."

"Well, you're a satyr. Big emotions. But what he said didn't make sense for you."

A small nod. "Thank you for stopping him. He said he didn't want to - really hurt Adam. But I heard his words, and - " Just a shake of her head, as she turns to seek him out.

Bevera says "He lied when he said he sought to help her." The knight says "Though he was not trying to kill Adam. Nor did he tell the full story of he and Piper."

He's right there.

"Well, he was too casual with that dictum..." She turns and looks. "Ah! Thank you, Dame."

"Yeah but.... uh, sorry. Dame. And, uh, Excellency but....the full story, whatever... that's between them. Right?"

"As ever, Gwydion stands by to bring justice" The New Troubadour says "I shall go back to playing"

She gives a small bow/nod to Ellie. To Adam, "I think I've had enough party for now - for all that I'd have to turn in my satyr card or my wilder card, or both if word got out. You can stay if you like?" She offers.

"I'm with -you-." He says emphatically.

"A fine young paramoour" Neema observes at Adam's behavior

"Good night, and thank you for coming - you did very well, and I liked your music very much. Not just the Disney, but I also liked that one the best."

Ellie heads off to give the wilders room.

"Thank you, Your Excellency!" Adam calls and bows as the little one leaves.

Ash nods "Yes, it's getting late. Holger. Escort please. Salma... Ariel."

Ariel is talkign to Clem, who sooths her hair, and then shooes her on

"But I'm not..." YAWN "sleepy..." (ping)

"C'mon, Piper...." Adam tugs her hand gently. "Let's go."

"A moment.." And will join Adam soon. She looks over at Phoebe, and approaches to have a word. "I'm a broken record, but.. I'm sorry. I could have handled that more subtly. Or talked to you alone. I didn't need to drag you through my dirty laundry..."

Adam waits, but he watches; not giving Phoebe the hairy eyeball, though.

Phoebe says "My father was a balor sidhe who practiced a breeding program that's the stuff of nazi pulp legend. Your laundry smells pretty good." She whispers "Now go.. Adam has been a gentleman. I hope I find someone like him, a TRUE noble man, for myself"

(And when Piper is ready - no rush! - Adam leaves with the lady that brought him.)

She winces at that. "I award you 1 Yike on the laundry scale." And offers her a hug.

A hug is returned

"I don't have OFFICIAL status to speak for Rivervale, but I'd like to invite you to visit anyways... as my guest maybe?"

"I would welcome that"

A smile, relieved, and she retires with Adam The Patient. Or was it Artax? Whoever.

The party does not break up, per se, Nancy acts as MC... the wilders have fun, but Piper and Adler...Axel? whatever... depart. And the childlings are soon tucked in bed . Jessica and Duff..well, tht's not anyone's darned biz.

Sonador breaks out the mop and starts to clean his part of the throne room. The Boggan waves to his auntie Marie

"Okay, Sonador, We're handling the food...and we cleared up most of the junk in there, but it does need mopping so...it's on you. Don't get distracted. You're a boggan but sometimes it's like you're doing anything but the work!"

Sonador nods firmly

"mmm " Maria nods and vanishes.

Sonador begins to mop... and he thinks on the music, the wonderful music
