"Zane, you got any plans for Carnivale?"

"Mostly drinking dancing and hopefully fun with a costume up "

"Cool. 'Lanza?"

"I .. hadn't thought that far ahead" She admits

"Yeah."

They walk.

"Do YOU have plans?"

"Nah. Prolly sit it out."

"By then you mightt feel more like partying" Zane says

"Maybe."

"We'll see."

"Come on, why donn't we get some more food and find a private place to sit?"

"Ok." as they head in that direction "We'd know if the brand was here, right?"

""Oh yeah, the brand getting here will cheer"

He nods. "Ok."

At the foodspread, he takes a glass of red wine and a couple h'orderve things in a napkin. Oops, another glass of wine; that first one's empty.

The others grab some as well, and they find a nice bench in a different area. They can hear activity but not be in it

Adam moves the food around in the napkin.

Zane got a plate of some goods and offers it around "Ok.. these cheese balls are GOOD"

Adam takes one. "Thanks." He doesn't eat it right away.

They DO smell good, and if tried, are delicious!

He sips, looks around.

Coradel and August have finished their dance...at least for now...and are also enjoying a bit of the buffet bounty.

If allowed, August will 'hunt' for Coradel amidst the buffet.

Oh, she certainly allows...and may even drift away from where she was standing when he started, so that she's not there when he looks up to offer his finds to her....but instead is on his other side and gives him a light, playful poke in the ribs, and laughs.

A gentle smile, and he offers a plate of delicacies and a glass of wine.

He gets a smile for that and a light kiss. A nibble from the plate, a sound of definite approval.

That pleases him; he takes a few bites of his own meal.

She smiles as Shalimar and Vashti flirt outrageously with each other.

They do, shameless hussy... and Vashti too

And cheers break out as someone yells "The Brand, the Brand!'

"They're a delight," Coradel comments to August.

Zara hears the cries and draws Earl to the doorway to peek in without leaving their quiet side-party.

"Oh! Well done!" She sets down her plate (but keeps the glass) and catches August's hand to join her by the balefire.

August managers to set his things down before being hauled off.

Adam looks up and over.

"The brand!" Coradel happily takes up the cry, encouraging others to join. "The brand!"

And others join in...

Even August!

A merry noise erupts in all the shouting and laughter.

Adam gets to his feet.

And then at her gesture, the uproar settles again as she and August arrive before the balefire.

And in comes Lily! she's too youngg to be a brand, yet there she is, wearing ear muffs and helping HOLD up the lantern carried by an indulgent sidhe wilder lass in white who they do not recognize. She's letting the sluagh 'co deliver'

Brenda and Kyle Thomas beam like the proud parents they are

That gets a sad smile to Adam's face, if he can see it from their secluded spot.

Zane grins "Your sister is going to be SO Full of herself for a week"

"Shush, I think it's adorable" Alanza says

They sidhe and sluagh 'brands' approach Coradel, and curtsey. "Lily, do you remember the words?"

Coradel looks very pleased at this, and she gives Lily a very solemn nod before giving the sidhe wilder a deep formal curtsey.

"Baroness of Earth Runes, gentle folk squall, I bring to you the flame past truly. May it be as warm in the .." She tries to remember the words "may it be as warm as your welcome.... which has been truly so. unless you prerfer clammy welcomes. May it fill you like a sugar bowl fills with ants if left alone.. or something . I trust you, Freeholder, renew your flames and let all know even the coldest winter has the spark of spring" She's sure she got that LAST Part and and looks to the sidhe
