Adam sighs and sits back. After a moment he says "After the Brand arrives, I'm gonna bounce. You should party. A hook up might do you some good."

"It might, annd I ggotta stay here for the glamour but.." Zane says "Dude, you're bailing on me?"

"Dude, I can't party. Not now, not yet. I got shit to do, and plus, I don't want to be a drag, you know? That's not cool for everyone else."

"You see Alanza anywhere?"

"I guess not..." he says"But you donn't have to face shit alone and I don't mind if I miss out on a.." At the question he stops "No. I don't. Let's find out where she is."

Zane moves towards one of the boggans, they're usually connected "Pardon me, Charity?"

"Off duty" She says "if you want a drink the bar is..."

"oh no" Zane says "Adam wanted to ask you something"

"Oh?" She looks to Adam "Yes?"

Zane gets a-look- but Adam asks "Do you know where Alanza is?"

"Oh.. " Charity says "Poor girl. She's still in her room mostly. Not healthy for an eshu really, not healtthy for anyone"

"Zane, Dude, you should go see how she is. I bet it would cheer her up."

"You're trying to get rid of me" Zane says

"I'm worried about Alanza too."

"Why don't you BOTH go" Charity says "Adam, you knnow we boggans never intrude on private matters, but frankly she's blaminng herself for everything. She thinks SHE Killed Nab and broke your heart all at the same night. No one can talk her out of that. Maybe you can"

Adam sighs, but nods. "Come on if you want, Zane. This might not be a good time, though."

"I bet it's not, but she IS a friend" and he follows Adam

Adam leads the way and knocks softly on the door.

"G'way" not the words of an eloquent Eshu

"Alanza, it's Adam. And Zane"

A muffled mumble then.. "Adam.. I... " Mumble mutter

"I know. Open up." He urges.

The door opens a crack. Were she a sidhe, the pretty girl's hair would be in perfect place, her face would not have cry marks messing with her complexion, or anything like it.

However, she's eshu, so pretty or not, she's a bit of a mess.

She wears pajamas that look like they've been her regular wear for a few days running

the door opens a bit wider "Adam, I know what you're going to say, and I'm SO sorry. If I hadn't dragged you along on that 'adventure' Nab never would have gotten killed. I lead her to her death"

And Adam is bald.

"No." With sorrow "The willworker did that."

"My feet are supposed to lead people surely if excitingly and I...I LEAD us there. I caused this" She says "And..what happened to your head??"

"Shaved it."

"I don't blame you, Alanza. I mean, you can if you want to, but I dont."

"Blame.... it'll make you crazy. No good lays down that road."

"What he said" Zane says "We can't live in the tragedy, or wallow in the loss. Nab wouldn't want that" A glance to Adam, then back "From any of us. "

And, he wears all black. "Mourn, yeah. Long as it takes. Blame....?" He shakes his head.

Alanza slumps "I can't think of a way to make this in a story without feeling like a bitch"

"Maybe it's not ready to be a story yet."

"I.. guess" She says "What's the plan today?"

"Imbolc."

"Oh it's today? Oh yeah "She says "Are you going?" She asks Adam

"I was there. Figured I would stay til the Brand arrived."

"Yeah, I guess that's true" She says "Give me ten minutes"

"Sure."

She vanishes. She's a girl, so it's more like 15.

"Yeah." With soft sympathy.

The door opens, and Alanza looks better. She's wearing a black top and gray slacks. Not exactly imbolc wear

Adam gives her a glance over. Nods.

"I know, not festive.." She says
