"Uh. The Rus... rusalka?"

"Ah." She flops down and gets a book and lays it down

Zane says "it's a book about Rusalka"

"Well, it's a start. Little dragon, we're looking for a rusalka named Veronica that Miss Zara found." he explains explicitly.

"Oh." Adam takes the book and opens it, flipping through.

And near the end, there are notes Veronica appears to be the only Rusalka we know of... _ There's a drawing of her _And currently as of this, staying in the room at.. and it mentions the room

"Hey!" Adam shows Zane and Nab, and smiles at Bronte "Thanks!"

"The powerful play goes on, and you may contribute a verse" She bows her litle head

"I may? Cool." Adam turns to the others "Ready?"

"Definitely"

Adam leads the way.... and leaves the book in the library.

and tthey find the room, it's quieter darker area, perhaps it was meant for a spare sluagh

Adam taps at the door; he's quiet about it, just in case.

the door opens "Yes?" Veronica peeks out "oh, hello again."

"Hello." a grin "Adam Thomas. Veronica, right? This is my friend Zane, and this is Nabuni, my......." he pauses, looks at Nab with a question.

"Uhmm " Nab blushes

"My Nab." he settles on.

"Yes" Nab smiles

Zane is gaping then grins "hi I'm..."

"You'll have to forgive him." Adam explains "He was dropped on his head a lot as a baby."

She stares back though "I know you" Looking at Zane

"You do?"

"You served the ladyship.. you" Veronica looks torn as if she lost herself in a memory . Perhaps she did

"The Chief?" Adam murmurs to Zane, confused.

Zane shrugs confused too

"Uh, Veronica... you ok?"

"He was by her side... the snow dancer... he served"

She mutters

Adam looks puzzled a moment more, then his eyes widen. "Woah. No way?" he looks at Zane.

Zane says "Wait...Nadeenn?"

"I.. don'tt know?" COnfusion "Golden Sun"

"Has to be. But... did she get a freehold or something for Yule?"

"No. No." He says "But in a past life"

"I thought it was her daddy's?"

"Like I remember much of anything" he says

Adam looks back to Veronica to see if she has more insight.

"I am sorry I am confused"

"No need for apology; if it helps, I've had something similar happen."

She nods "Yes. I.."

then she looks at Zane "Suffice to say I know of him but so vaguely"

"Zane Wayburton, Wizard" He bows

"Dropped on his head a lot." Adam adds.

Elbow! Smile at lady

Veronica actually laughs a bit.

"You settling in ok, Veronica? Need anything?"

"No I.. please. Come in." She motions open her door "I'll tell you what I know of my kith. that's why youre here right?"

"Yes," Zane admits

"We are? Yes. Yes, we are." Adam corrects on the fly. He takes Nab's hand and they go in.

And in they go, where the woman shares what she knows of her kith, much of it in the very book that was already in the library
