A nod "And what works for you is Earth Runes right?"

"Yes." just as firm.

"We figured. You might be visitng us for holidays but you'll be staying here."

"Everything I want is here." he affirms.

A sad look at something then "Yes. "

"Except you guys. Of course." As if that is a given.

A chuckle "Well, we'll be here sometimes. As will Lily. We're all geting sained"

"Yeah."

"In Rivervale?"

"Either here or at the farm"

"I'd have thought Rivervale." he shrugs "Whatever works."

"After making a complete ass of myself at Rivervale I feel a bit reluctant" She admits

"I thought you settled that? Or did something else happen?"

"Settled it yes, but doesn't mean I cant' feel embarrassed. As a satyress I'm supposed to move on, but you're not the only one with issues" A chuckle

"Fair enough."

"Anyway, it should mean your sister will be able ot travel with us on the trods"

"I bet she can't wait."

"She really can't. She thinks we have all the fun. I don't knoww how to tell her"

"Guess she'll learn on her own. Listen, I need to get to the sparring ring for a workout."

"Enjoy" his mom waves "And.. .thank you for talking to me about this before assuming the worst"

"You're welcome."

Adam hugs her one more time and heads out for the sparring ring after gathering his equipment.

She returns the hug and watches him go. A fond hopeful look

And off he goes to get the shit kicked out of him

well, not really.

His -intent- is to beat the living crap out of an inannimate opponant till he can't lift his weapon.

Okay yeah. He can beat that

His expression is focused, and even in the chill winter air he raises a sweat. It takes a while to exhaust him; he's an athlete and has been training regularly at arms.

And it shows. Toned, ready to go.

And if the exertion and chill brings on some sniffling, that's only expected.

Finally he's winded, and the practice sword weights a thousand pounds. He leans on it, point down. The pell is the worse for wear.

"Did it piss you off?" Zane asks

"Huh?" Adam looks up, wipes the damp from his face. "Just practicing. How long you been there?"

"About a minute and a half. Enough to see you fell the foul foe" He nods "how's it going, man?"

"It's going." He comes over. "You?"

"Actually, pretty good. Piper's got some concert thing going to perform at she's going to be thrilled"

Adam looks wistful, sad. "How is she?"

"Happy. She's dating Jonas and Siv. More Siv I think"

Adam blinks. "Jonas? I thought..... oh."

"Wait. Jonas -and- Siv? Siv -King- and Jonas.... whateverhisnameis?"

"Jonas.. you know I dont' know his last name either " A pause "huh. Yeah, they're kind of a threesome"

"oh"

"Fiona roll with it easier. Jonas surprises me, but then.. two girls. Most guys dream of that"

"Yeah. Yeah, I know. Well." Adam grins a little fiercely. "Good for them. Glad to hear she's happy. I mean, she said she was so....."

"Yeah. Bastian's learning got this whole warrior for society angle going. Makes me wonder if we Wayburtons can corner the Satyr fam market. Probably not but hey" A smile "I hear there are some new bloods here?"

"Huh? Yeah, I guess. A pooka and a nocker from Samhain and a Russian from ... I don't know. A few days ago. All girls."

"A russian? Another Varich?" A pause "And are they hot?"

"No, no, not a Varich. Uh. Miss Zara found her? Something like Russian. People seem surprised about her. And Dirk was here, something about a River Hag?"

"-She- is pretty, yeah, and kinda.... dramatically bloodthirsty? The other two.... one has legs for days and the other has that sexy-kitten thing going."
