but she smiles fondly

"Uh. S.... sorry, Baroness. Just.... I think I'm getting used to Sidhe might and beauty, and then something like this happens." he slips an arm around Nab as he speaks.

"Ah, a wag that drools."

"You're.... amazing."

"Well, your eyes still work. That's a good thing." And she looks to Nab. "And how is Samhain for the chimeric folk?"

"I wouldn't know, Baroenss.I'm not all Chimeric folk"

An arch look at the sassy demoness. "Not what I meant. But I suppose I did assume that you, perhaps, spoke with your compatriots?"

"Oh," She looks almost apologetic "No, Baroness. You don't actually have that many Chimera besides the library crew"

"Oh, and Thistlesnort"

"Are, uh, are -you- enjoying Samhain?" Adam asks the Baroness.

"We must find you some more friends, then," Coradel points out to Nab.

"Oh, yes," Coradel smiles as at a secret delight. "Very much."

Her smile sparks one for him, as well. "I wasn't allowed to be around anyone last Samhain, so I guess this is my first, like, celebration. What is there to do, other than dancing?"

"Oh, some of the fun is often of people's own devising." That wicked grin remains. "However...." a thought "...have you visited the seers and fortune tellers?" She indicates the entry to the gallery where people are having their fates read.

The grin is matched and returned. "Yeah, I've had some of that fun." He gives Nab a squeeze. "Plan to have some more of it but..... no, haven't visited them yet. What's the point, though, if we won't remember?"

Nab ponders "mmm more friends might be nice"

"Chimerical or Fae or both?" he asks Nab.

An eloquent shrug that does amazing things to that dress. "Some people remember some things. And you are something of an odd creature, so...who knows what may happen?"

"....woah....."

"Oh I mean more Chimera.. but either way"

"Where, uh, where is the baron?" he asks.

A blink. "The baron? Elsewhere. He has his own doings on Samhain night. Why?"

"I was just wondering if you'd like an escort. I mean, have you been to the seers and fortune tellers?"

"Oh he's so shy" the Vicar says

She purses her lips again, but this time in amusement. "You shall guide me safely through the corridors of my own home?" A pause as she considers. "Well, why not."

He offers his free arm to her, Nab on the other side.

A farewell nod to the Vicar and the Earl, and she graces Adam with a hand on his arm.

Oh, that just lights him up!! He walks with her to the gallery.

Nab walks along the other side "As you can see, Adam is a fit male. Nubile"

That makes him laugh. "Thanks, Nab."

"He has potential, certainly." An amused look to Nab. "Are you his pimp?"

"OhI prefer to think the title as peddler of flesh"

"She takes good care of me." Adam grins.

"Fair enough. Well...here we are." She gestures to the various tellers of the future. "Take your pick. Take several." She releases his arm. "Thank you for the escort." And without another word, she abandons them to saunter across the room to take a look into getting a tea leaf reading.

Adam watches her go with stars in his eyes. "Wow....."

He touches the place on his arm where she touched him.

Nabuni says "Oh well..sorry, Adam, we can't win them all"

"No, it's ok!" He grins. "I mean.... she came in with us, right? And anyway, heard she's married so....." he shrugs. "Which fortune teller did you want to try?"

Adam looks over the options.

Well, everything from bones being consulted to magic 8 balls

They take a walk around the room to find the right one.....

There's folks consulting the stars

Adam's a bit wide-eyed, but enthusiastic. "How about the stars, Nab?"

"I love the stars. I'll take three" She beams

Adam heads over to the one reading the stars. "Hello."

The nocker looks up, he's a grump "Furk yeah?"

"I was wondering if you'd tell my fortune." Politely.

"When were you born? Know the specific time" He breaks out a tablet and starts preessing buttons.
