Earl notices his lady still hasn't come back with the drink she wanted. That is not typical behavior on Samhain, and he seeks her out.

1122 skitters atop his platform boot.

"Hello,1122.. can you lead me to my lady?"

Tapping - oh, she's on a secret mission?

A frown "On Samhain?"He leans down to let the little guy on his hand to he can feel the taps "Without me?"

SECRET mission.

Earl is too big. (This seems to be 1122's opinion)

A brow "Without warning? 1122... I try to respect her space, but tonight of all nights.. and compared to you everyone is too big. you are spider sized and others are not so blessed. But that's not the point. Is she going into danger?"

Define danger?

"Could she be hurt?" He says

No danger of physical harm.

He notes the wording and frowns , which given the Herman facepaint might look slightly comical, "Oh dear." And he paces a bit

Fretting won't help.

"Mmph... the winter is on me.. friend. It is harder to be dutiful and honorable to her wishes .. and I am guessing these are her wishes. " He peeks into the main chamber where the main crowd is, then looks back to 1122. "Particularly when my beloved has deserted me in the middle of a date." an amused look at 1122 "my pride is pricked." He admits

Adam (and Alanza?) emerge from their sequestration.

Alanza actually stayed behind. Shower and costume readjustment

Fair enough! Adam hopes she had a positive experience.....

Actually... and maybe it's his unseelie side talking...he was amazing! It's not just dancing he's learned.

It isn't that he's a bad student, actually. He just has to like the subject to get the best out of him.

He looks about for Nab.

He sees Herman Munster at a doorway to the garden, talking to a small clockwork spider.. and pacing a bit

Not to make a specific detour but if he happens to pass by.....

Well, good luck passing through a door with a troll blocking it

" 'Scuse me." As he swaggers up.

"oh" Earl says "Hello Adam."

"Sir Earl." he guesses correctly. "How's Samhain going for you?"

"Not so well.. you and I share a similar problem" He sighs

"You think so?" Adam, clearly, does not believe it.

"You're not with your date either" He points out

"She's around somewhere." unconcerned "As long as she's having a good time."

"I hope mine is as well but am not so sure she is"

He scoots to the side "Sorry to be in the way"

Adam nods and moves along, keeping an eye out for Nab..... and in a general way, for others as well.

And, for that matter, for something new to experience!

A boggan, he doesn't know which, walks by. She elbows him "Top of the obstacle course. Bring flowers"

Adam blinks..... but figures what the hell, and grabs some flowers from a display before heading out.

And there he finds Nab..she's wiping at her eyes

"Nab?" he clambers up to her "What's wrong?"

"Why did you ask me out on your date?" She looks at him

She looks disturbingly human, her red skin tone paler

"I wanted to celebrate Samhain with you." perplexed "I love you."

"You know I don't care when you have other girls. I don't. I think it's great if you have lots of lovers. I'm kind of based on those dreams. But.. a date you know? I thought I wouldn't be left out"

"I'm sorry." He sets the flowers down to take her hand. "I invited you along but I couldn't find you." earnestly "I don't think Alanza meant to leave you out. I'm really sorry."

"Tell you what, the rest of the night, let's be sure to spend together, somehow, ok?"

"You got me flowers?" A sniff "that's.. nice. It's just.. you could have found me, instead you decided to go with Alanza. And I don't mind you having Alanza and she having you... but to know that if you had to choose you'd go for the new girl. I can be anyone you want and... I don'tknow.. I'm feeling weird feelings I don't understand like my world is all glass and it could break if you touch it wrong or worse if you stop touching it. I don't know what's going on."

She looks a bit panicked by the feelings she's having

"Sshhhh... hey....." he comforts, sliding his arms around her.

She burries her head into his chest "I'm sorry. I just.. I dont' mind being one of many it's just.. suddenly I was number last of many and that hurt? I don't know. It's all strange."

"Sex with Alanza was new and different and exciting, but so is sex with you. I don't feel about her the way I feel about you."

He kisses her hair.
