Adam blinks... why is he burriedunder a blanket on a bench in the garden?

And where are his clothes? Because it feels like his BARE Butt is on the bench

"Hi,Adam..." Nab says carrying a set of clothes

"Nab?" He garbles. "What happened?"

"Grandame Bondrasteand you were talking. She told you to close your eyes since the mists were departing and count to ten... she also asked me to bring you clothes and you left.

"I don't remember..... what were we talking about?"

"I don't know..something about... oh"

A frown as he thinks. "What? Why am I naked?" He starts to look a little ill. "Why was I naked with the GrandDame?"

"Nothing sick" She assures "I remembe that"

He seems relieved.

"What-did- happen?" He sits up and pulls the blanket around him in the chill of morning.

"That I don't remember..."

If he thinks about it, Adam vaguely recalls ....feeling great, feeling hopeful, feeling furious! Feeling great again!

But the memories beyond feelings are fuzzy, scattered

"I have feelings but....."

He sighs.

I remember you hugging Grand Bondraste hard"

He nods. "She.... thinking about her makes me happy. Like... Christmas."

"Well, something happened. Maybe she got you a new car?"

"You think?!?!" He jumps up.

"Well, as good as you feel yes"

"Let's go see!" He dashes off, blanket flapping.

there is a brand new car! A tesla roadster! Hot dam..Silver with red trim!

His jaw drops. "Do you think....!?!?"

There is a thane nearby guarding the cars

"I don't know, isn't that like a bajillion bucks?"

"Yeah..... excuse me, do you know whose car this is?"

The thane, a troll who he does not know well, nods.

"Whose is it?"

A pause, and he ponders. Slowly. "is this a matter of security?"

"Uh. No? I mean, I just want to know whose it is."

"oh" he says

Then finally he says "It's Dame Leonora's. Nice mm?"

A sigh. "Yeah. It is." Disappointed but not crushed.

"Anything else I can help you with?" The troll thane says

"Guess not. Thanks." He turns to Nab. "I guess..... go in? Breakfast?"

"I guess" She says taking his arm "i'm sorry it wasn't a new car"

"Nah, that's ok. I mean, still -have- a car, so...."

"True. Hey, maybe a new laptop?"

"Maybe. Let's go inside, see if we can figure it out."

And they go on inside!

What a mess. Boggans with hang overs are cleaning up

One male boggan with a broom looks at him "Weren't you the guy who tried to hump the balefire last night?"

"What!?!? No!!"

"Jeeze, it looks trashed."

"Every Samhain morning" he says "Goes from Somber to Gomarrah in no time flat"

Nab looks at Adam and seems to realize something!

"Adam.. I know something.. it's in your head and mypowers let me see it"
