"The beagle?" Zane says

"One of the hawks attacked the beagle's.. I had the dogs too close. " ALanza explain

"Look, I don't know how it happened but I released the hawk. It isn't your fault."

"Maybe not but that poor guy was hurt under my care...and then later, I got sick nearly cleaning the rabbit and I feel like maybe I suck at this" She admits

"Hey hey" Zane says "You're LEARNING... it's okay."

"Totally!" Adam emphasizes.

"Totally!" Vince adds, sashaying up to the bar. "Jack, my sweet, a bottle of my own? Please, I die of thirst." A touch melodramatic.

"Vince" The Eshu lass smiles "Your beer is wonderful"

"The effervescence is like a purr upon the tongue... what were we talking about again?" All innocence, and he bellies up to the bar and companionably takes a seat next to Adam, leaning in to sniff at his mug with an approving "Mmmm!"

Jack hands it over "Hey, Vince. So far everyone has lived"

Zane blinks and looks at his drink "lived?"

"So far" Jack assures

"So far! And yet, if it was a little death you sought in your drink, I might recommend instead, a pomegranite cordial?"

Alanza says "Pomengranite.. little death?"

Zane whispers in her ear.

She blushes "You're all very wicked" but she smiles

A mischievous smile. "The most wicked of all beasts, so they call me."

"I can help revive you if you need help with the petite morte there" Zane says "I am a wizard, you know?"

The only girl in the room rolls her eyes but chuckles at both Pooka and Satyr "You're both so helpful. "

"How's it going, Vince?" Jack asks

"Oh, it comes and goes. I do prefer the coming to the going, but que sera? I was more wondering how the going was going for young D'artagnan here." A hand clapped on Adam's shoulder.

"Hi, Vince!" He seems glad to see the pooka. "It's all good here."

"How go our gentle townsfolk? Still groaning under the yoke of oppression?" A concerned look.

"Oh, we had a hunting incident.. turns out I'm a wimp when it comes to cleaning rabbits" Alanza says

"Turns out she's -learning- how to clean rabbits."

"And, she's too hard on herself."

"Yeah!" Zane says

"Zane, what's with the cane?"

Vince shudders a touch, visible. "Oh, heaven forefend. Now, myself? Being a Fierce and Magnificent Beast, I cut my teeth on the veins of furfolk the world over. I cannot imagine that anyone would feel the least bit squeamish when presented by gore."

"It is a treasure once perverted to enslave with desire, now a liberating thing!" Zane says "It was shattered to shatter evil, but then, I....with help, rewove it, reconnected it, and repurposed it for good wizard craft"

Alanza smiles "Oh, you're a vegitarian? If I were I might feel more justified in having been wimpy about it. I mean, I eat meat so I shouldn't act like I'm looking down on the folks who hunt it right?"

"Woah. Impressive!" Adam looks it over.

A hand clasped on her shoulder reassuringly for a moment. "Even the mighty may quail at a quail. The important of the matter is that thy blood runs red and true when tis needed."

And he eyes the staff curiously as well!

"Rewove it, s'truth? I hadn't thought of thou as a seamstress."

The staff has a white gemstone, smoothish, in it's top

A fingertip reaches out to curiously tap at the gemstone.

The Eshu smiles at the pooka, "I hear you. If folks need me, I won't let them down."

" 'Course you won't. " firmly.

"Hey, no grabbing at another guy's stick. And I didn't reweave it so much as ..rejoin it and then had the dreaming do the rest"

Zane explains

"Now, Dartagnan, how fare the townsfolk that my Brother-Wife and thou were a'questing to save?" He queries Adam.

"Dare I hope in my languid lazabouts, you have corrected the issue and I needs not bestir my tail?" Running his tufted tail through fingertips.

The touch to the cane made the Lion pooka feel...well, it's like it took some despair away

He blinks. And blinks once more. "Say, Friend Wizard. What price for that small twig?"

"Not for sale, and it's plenty big thank you" Zane says

Alanza breaks into a giggle covering her mouth too late.

A disappointed sigh. But a smile. "You shall do great things, young Wizard. " A magnanimous wave and proclamation, "May thy twig measure up to a mighty oak!"

"HA!"Adam laughs outright.
