On the other hand, notations about some mortal relations to the kith here are surprising. Very surprising. He knew Leonora treasured her host's mortal father, but it seems he might be getting remaired. No comment on how Leo feels about that. Delores has a mortal cousin in town who is driving her nuts. Oswald is helping to support a Dreamer friend who is down on his luck in these trying times.

His eyebrows lift.

He makes a mental note to ask Vince to check up on their Carnival king and queen, and others.

He searches his memory.... was Leonora scheduled just now for patrol, guard, or court duty?

If he would even know.

Mm with Clare on guard duty for the baroness, it's possible Leonora is available

He goes in search of her.

And he finds her roughing it in a lounge chair wearing a bikini and shades. Her brunette hair with it's golden highlights and out

His lips quirk in a slight smile that he tames as he approaches. "Ah, Dame Leonora? Am I disturbing you?"

She lifts her shades "Not in the slightest. What can I do for you, my lord?"

He shifts and takes up a spot to block the sun, if she is going to look up at him. More comfortable for her. "It occured to me we had not spoken recently, and I thought I would reach out."

She looks at him, "Well, you have been busy these last few days and well, the week of Easter I kind of figured would be especially busy for you..at least from Ash Wednesday on. How'd it go by the way?"

He nods, agreeing with her. "Logical. It was very beneficial, very meaningful. A time of useful and productive reflection." A gentle smile.

"I'm glad for you," She says it without any sarcasm at all

"Thank you. I trust you've been well?"

"Actually? yes." She admits "i've had fun with Captain Cub " Meaning Siv, "And my patrols have had an increase in action ...fiighting nightmares etc. I AM sort of bummed about this isolation stuff. Lot of my mmortal friends I can't party with. My dad and I stay in touch." Thoughtful "But he's dating."

"He is?" Pleasant if ingenious surprise.

"Yeah, he may remarry. Ain't that a kick?At least, it seems serious."

A head tilt, still blocking the sun from her eyes. "Have you met her?"

"Hey, angel, I promise not to burn my eyes out... the light behind you is giving you a halo." She motions forh im to take a spot beside her "And I have, briefly. She seems nice. Not too banal anyway"

He perches on the edge of the lounge. "Well, that's a good sign."

"It is. She's very pretty/classy you know? Aging well.. and only a few years younger than dad so it's not like he's robbing a craddle" A grin

A sweet smile. "Are you happy about it?"

"I can be selfish, may mean less time with him for me.. and that's sad, but if she makes him happy? Of course it's worth it and I'm very happy for him there"

"That's good."

"I think so," She says then kisses him lightly then parts "Now that the Eastern Week is up, are you and Coradel up for some free time?" She does not know that a new mission is on Coradel's mind

"Ah. I, ah, we might be?"

"That is, I only have a loose idea of her schedule, but I know she would want to make time for you."

"That's sweet. it's been over a long week and a half"

August nods agreement, then pauses awkwardly. "You, ah, you haven't... that is, you have others." He states it, but there's an air of question about it.

A slender brow "haven't..others?" the brow rises

He blushes a little with a sigh. "You haven't been neglecting yourself." Still a question there.

"I can miss the touch of two of my best friends, and still indulge elsewhere" She promises him

He nods. "I understand that. You said it has been a long week and a half and...."

"Well, it has been, august. And while I have other lovers, they're not interchangeable. You are.. well, you're really good in the sack."

That makes him color more sincerely. "Ah. Thank you. I had excellent teachers."

"Also I like you guys. Combine the two, and there are a reasons I enjoy you both more than some other lovers. Not that i put a score card up " Where anyone can find it "That would be tacky"

August nods. "I remember." in reference to that point of his lessons. "Perhaps we could play cards or a game or something."

"Like Strip Monopoly?"

Another little jolt of color. "Ah. I hadn't thought of that. Wouldn't it take too long?"

"only one way to find out" She smiles

He clears his throat. "I'll bring the idea up to Coradel. Games, that is. Ah, board or card."

"Good. I missed our games and love making" She says stretches easily.

Very pink. "Ok. Yes. Ah, as, ah, as have I."

"That's sweet" She kisses his cheek, "now, how's Magnus? I heard he got shot"

A sigh, and she might note some quiet frustration. "Four times."

"Holy shit" She sits up straight from her former lounging position "Emma is on top of it? I mean.. geez"
