In deference to his kith, Coradel applauds quietly, but she's certainly intrigued.

"Love you baby!" too loud a stage whisper from the mom trying to compromise, and she blows through a soundless horn.

Reap tips his hat down at an angle to hide his face, causing his spider to sway, mumbling something to Professor as he is handed his diploma... ducks behind the professor and..vanishes.

BIC: then the professor clears his throat, smiles, and says...

"Zara Scwhartz," He names the school program and then adds "With literary honors, additional accreditation for library studies noted by the Barony Of Earth runes, Witchcraft and Shamanism program of DeBuke studies so noted, so moted."

Zara hesitates, hidden by the edge of the curtain.

A voice behind her, one of the other students says "We got this."

"Zara..." Coradel says softly. She wants to cheer, but she knows the sluagh can hear, and she claps carefully again.

She scuttles out, hastily crossing to the troll.

She sees Earl standing and applauding softly.

And her family? Well...

"stage is shoddy if youre gonna have trolls stomping around it just saying... " "She's a light girl..." "do you think she should eat more?" between claps and applause "Love you, Zara" from Mama Hannah, approving smiile nod... from Aaron pride trickling off the whole lot of them. Miriam threatens to bean the uncles if they don't shush and cheer already. Jacob waves because otherwise he won't be noticed and she needs his cheer kinda right?

Vasthi stands near Earl, both trying to show reassurance and quieter.

And Siv is there in the far back. As is Marzalane! And Mr. DeVere! The sluagh have appeared in that far corner, nodding...dressed in victorian best.

A quick, shy, smile before she takes the paper.

Her hand is shaken by her mentor but gently and brief so she doesn't feel for a moment trapped, then he says "We are all so proud of you, including your swellheaded mentor. Da'an bless you"

And she can vanish much like Reap did behind the volumous haggard sized robes of her mentor if she wishes but either way she can slikp off to the side

"Thank you, sir." And oh, she flees!

Safe on the other side!

Coradel is beaming.

Speaking of August, as the next student is announced, Zara now safe, can look at her diploma! Oh, the script has been done by August! It's a master piece. He's worked on each and everyone to the fullest of his scribing skills! Even the material was lovingly chosen.

Fingertips hover above the silver leaf, not wanting to mar it... lillies and spiderwebs and lace fill the space, framing the elegant script...

"..... Griffen Online courses... " and the next student receives a diploma and then the last... cheers are given... and the music is triumphant.

Softly triumphant, yes.

Each student is celebrated as he or she walks.

As the students off to the side , their shadows stretcheed are told "You are hereby, each and everyone of you, recognized as is your achievement. You may switch your tassels, Widdershins or traditional as please you""

She turns her tassel... half expecting the pooka to hurl hers into the crowd...

Coradel watches the tassel-switching with bemused focus.

Expecations are right, indeed, more than one hat flings into the air victoriously!

"Oh god my eye!"

and possibly overblown by pooka kin in the room but hey

On the more solemn side... Zara feels a rush of glamour flow about her circle, and thrust out in a soft explosion like a ripple in a lake! This has been used as some kind of bunk! And she feels a sense of righteous pride and the love of her family and friends.

Coradel stands and applauds, sharing a happy look with August.

And the students can now rejoin their families... or slip away to the side towards the prom area. Zara sees Earl has moved, closer, keeping to his word to whisk her away anytime she wants if need be....but folks aren't just focusing on her. The others are bieng made a fuss over too, perhaps even more. It's not a shanda..thank the dreaming

She takes Earl's hands. "There was a cantrip..."

Coradel moves to the graduates to claim handshakes from each of them.

When she reaches Zara, she see's Earl is already there and hesitates rather than intrude...for a moment.

"Coradel." A deep nod.

"Yes... Uncle Emmit's doing. He's a show off."

"What did he do?"

"Miss Zara..." Coradel offers a hand. "I am so very pleased you have been recognized for your achievement." Then a nod to Earl before she starts to move away, giving the two some space.

"Thank you for hosting this here, Baroness" Earl says with a smile

Zara takes the offered hand, a polite shake. "This was... nice, aye."

Then a look to Zara, "I think it depends on your wishes... but mortals you knew and wish to know? I think they might dream of you as much or little as you want..." A cough "Possible a anightmare version of hyou will gloat in a certain Heather's head."

As she moves away, she adds, "Don't forget...prom!"

And she's gone into the crowd, personally congratulating graduates and their families.
