"Right. Ack. No, a satyress, she went this way..."

They four of them go into an area where they hear foot stomping and a woman singing "the Devil Went Down to Georgia, he was looking for a soul to steal..." A hoof keeping time!

Sparrow's wings fluff and a little grin sneaks onto her face.

"Ohh, this should be fun..." Coradel beams and tugs August along, for all the world like a child at a carnival.

As the fiddle in the satyress' hands is a blur and exuberant joy is in her steps.

And her voice is full of sass!

A wistful sigh.

He has to follow along, drawn behind Coradel.

Listening, his foot finds itself tapping, just a bit.

"....he was in a bind
'cause he was way behind
and he was willin' to make a deal
When he came upon this young man
sawin' on a fiddle and playin' it hot
and the devil jumped
up on a hickory stump
and said boy let me tell you what..." the golden haired satyress, Stevie also encourages clapping and stomping from the audience and while not the flirt the Eshu is, it is clear she wants folks to have a good time.

Still - she grabs Jennette by the hand. If there isn't already dancing, she'll start some!

Oh there are others, but Sparrow is one of the first crowd.

And Jennette blushing "I don't know how country dancing go..." But she goes along , happily bullied

Coradel laughs as Sparrow and Jeannette take to the floor, and she claps along with the music.

"Okay, you want to tap your heel, then crossover..." The Liam walks the seer through the dance, one step at a time.

Even if there are some missed steps, there's energy and laughter. Crashes are mostly avoided.

"The boy said my name's johnny
and it might be a sin
but i'll take your bet
and you're gonna regret
'cause i'm the best there's ever been"
Plays while Jennette tries to dance and whirl and almost stumbles laughing over but corrects. And yes, soon is into it

August draws Coradel out to the dance, after watching it for a moment.

"See, THIS is music!" Jennette might get pulled into a very athletic twirl.

Coradel's a bit surprised that August took the lead on this. She'd been holding back out of deference to him (he'd been awfully brave with the last few times, for him). She moves onto the floor with him and joins in.

He maneuvers them to where couples are dancing vs. the line dancers, takes her in his arms, and with some stumbling, gets them moving.

And yes, she can easily see he's counting, lips moving. 1...2.. 1-2, 1....2... 1-2, 1.....

She smiles and follows, and pretends not to notice the counting...it's rather sweet, actually.

Stevie Wayne unfolds the story! Of how it seems the Devil's hellishly amazing talent might win the contest, and steal Johnny's soul! But no! Johnny comes back with his own!

Jennette is laughing "It's music I suppose, yes! " Whirled, twirled

August is -trying- to make eye contact with Coradel, but the slightest stumble or hesitation and he's back to watching feet again.

It's a fast paced song to be sure! No delicate waltz here!

Nope - and Sparrow is athletic, and Jennette is light. She's airborne more than once.

Definitely laugher, it turns out Jennette has taken ballet, and being thrown is.. well she looks lovely in mid fall

Sparrow appreciates the view!

And if she can get the ballet dance to stomp a bit, all the better

Stomping, well, that's a work in progress. More like a stamp of foot that's not quite hard enough to get above adorable

Totally adorable.

"i'm having a good time" She whispers between notes in her ear "And yet I still think I'm going to get you for this" Blush and laugh

"I'm glad!"

"You're wonderful" She counters and 'stamps' again

She blushes and laughs - and stamps with gusto!

August shuffles around the floor with Coradel, lips moving occasionally, lots of attention to where he's putting his feet, and maybe even sweating lightly.... but he -is- dancing.

Coradel helps as much as she can without seeming to be helping...but at one point she says, "August, look," and nods toward Sparrow and Jeannette and their near acrobatics. "Oh, I do like them together."

The song ends, and she switches to banjo to show her versatility, Metallica as bluegrass has some folk surprised, as it works!

She tilts her head, taking a moment - but it's clappable!

Coradel listens curiously, and murmurs to August, "Happy music, but dark lyrics. Interesting."

August snatches a glance at the others, but then goes back to counting with a distracted nod. Metallica, even on a banjo, isn't so much dancing music.

"I think the banjo makes it... bouncy."

When the music switches over to banjo, she takes mercy on him and stops dancing and does more listening.

Sparrow bounces along to the beat, her hip, on occasion, brushing against the beaumayn's.
