Sparrow remembers Imbolc fondly, the music, the getting to meet such interesting people. Turns out Phyzante does give dance lessons if folks are interested and she might hang around the Firnost and Earth Runes areas enough to teach a few.

She meant to sleep at the house, but instead finds herself snoozing at her room in the Earth runes hold. mmmph. Today she wakes up alone.

She sits up, rubbing her face.

There's a knock on her door.

She rises to open it. Her hair falls in a careless tumble of copper curls, and her t-shirt slouches off one graceful shoulder. She did, in fact, "wake up like this" - but what a THIS it is!

There is not one, but two people at her door. One she knows well, her squire, Colton. the other is a wilder in her early teens she's never seen before. Not a Kithain, but a Kinian, of Sidhe blood she'd guess, and fully enchanted.

She tilts her head. "Colton? Who is your friend?"

"My friend?" He says surprised, "I thought she was your Friend, well your..." //The Kinian steps forward, "Lady in Waiting, Steward Delores told me you had need of one? I guess it's a fancy term for maid really?"

She raises an eyebrow. "Lady in waiting?"

"That's what I said," Colton admits//The girl blushes beautifully, "yes. I'm to attend to you, accompany you if required on events you deem me worthy of. And more. She tells me you're of House Liam, a House that respects mortals. So... I hope you'll consider me."

She rakes back her hair. "Liam has a duty to mortals, of course. What are we without Dreamers? Just... I wasn't quite expecting a retinue. Especially not before breakfast."

"I am actually here to ask you what breakfast you'd like" the girl says "Oh, I'm Eleanor. Like the famous first lady." She curtsies, "I Hope I did that right. The dress helps."// Colton says "Well, I'd be happy to get your breakfast too, but that's not what I..well, it was another thing. Sorry if the timing is bad."

"Well. We can go get coffee. And food. I'll brush up and be down in a little bit?"

"Would you like me to tend to your hair then?" Eleanor says

Colton blinks, "I'll uh, wait outside."

A baffled look. "Um."

"Could you please ask Delores if there's.... ah... eggs? And potatoes?"

'Right away, miss" She curtsies and moves to do just that.

Colton watches her go, and blinks, "it's ..weird, She's like a sidhe's echo..." A pause, "I'm sorry, I don't mean to be rude."

"Not rude. I just don't know what to do with her... well. I'll figure it out. If she needs a place, she needs a place..."

"She could brush your hair" Colton says, a bit more cockiness than normal?

"I am pretty sure I can brush my hair."

"Sorry I'm feeling kind of good and maybe full of myself" A blush "I.. I have the best news."

"Yeah? What news?" She grins.

"There's a new freehold in the world"

"How wonderful! That was your quest?"

"Yes, Kansas city has a small new commoner held hold. i... well, I had a part in it. It's done now so I don't think I'm betraying a trust. It's a Jazz Club . Can you believe it?"

"Probably good to have an alternative to Firnost... though I'd think the Duchy should be made aware."

"I suppose, though I don't think they have influence or rule that close to Firnost because of..well, it doesn't matter , well, at least not to me," He beams "there's a new hold in the world, and heck, there might be more flame at Rivervale too. It's complicated but there was like a this much here, and little less there.."

"A new freehold is a miracle and a blessing. I'm proud of you, Cole."

"Thanks," He grins.almost aglow.

"So yes - be proud. Go get breakfast. I'll be down in a second. Maybe after we can do some training.... it is the weekend, after all."

"They have eggs and Potatoes" Eleanor chirps up.

"Welcome back, Eleanor. I'll be down, yes."

"She would like to know if you'd like them done a certain way?" Eleanor continues

"Over easy and those little cubes she does with the onions and peppers?"

"Right away," She moves flowing off.

Colton watches her go again

"Thank you!" to her wake.

"This is kind of weird." he finally states, "Is it weird that it's weird?I mean, it's not so different from a memberof the staff but...so personal it's weird. " A apuse "And I'm wondering if she's horning in on Squire work."

"Well. YOU are my Squire. I am sworn to you. Be sure of that, okay?"
