Meanwhile.... August and Coradel, having left the room with the Varich's performance to move on... and find another auditioning to the crowds for Troubadour

August tucks Coradel's hand in the crook of his arm as they walk.

A very lovely Eshu woman who plays up her "Gypsy" or Romani heritage to the hilt often going so far as to dress like Esmeralda from Disney's Hunchback of Notre Dame dances and turns even as she sings a song without loss of breath despite the elegant motions...

"Listen as your day unfolds
Challenge what the future holds
Try and keep your head up to the sky
Lovers, they may cause you tears
Go ahead release your fears
Stand up and be counted
Don't be ashamed to cry..." her belly button is doing things one does not expect it to do.

August's eyes slide away.

Coradel enjoys August's proximity, and murmurs in his ear, "That was fun. I want to dance more with you...in all sorts of ways." ((but this before the gypsy sings, of course))

"We'll dance more before the end of the evening." He promises.

"Oh, I know we will," she murmurs to him, but her gaze does not slide away from the eshu.

"Oh...she's good..."

Phyzante sings, saunters and sways, and upon seeing August and Coradel, takes her scarf and wraps the two of them up lightly in it, light and sultry at the same time...

"Herald what your mother said
Read the books your father read
Try to solve the puzzles in your own sweet time
Some may have more cash than you
Others take a different view
My oh my, yeah, eh, eh"

August is trying to find somewhere to look.....

Coradel laughs as she is entwined with him, smiling up into August's face...vague memories of a Maypole....

Oh, there it is. Coradel. He'll look at her.

She shimmies lightly a bit herself, pulling him along to move with the music.

A small smile flashes quickly across his lips, and he takes a deep breath to exhale as he moves with her, and the music, on his own accord.

You gotta be cool, you gotta be calm, you gotta stay together

Love will save the day" A wink at the two as she tries to get them moving together giving example and circling free now pulling the scarf off them slowly...
"Time ask no questions, it goes on without you
Leaving you behind if you can't stand the pace
The world keeps on spinning
Can't stop it, if you tried to
The best part is danger staring you in the face" A wink and she moves onto another in the crowd. Fearless in embarrassing the audience.

August keeps Coradel in his arms, and keeps dancing. Well. Swaying. But he's on the floor!

A laugh, and she returns the eshu's wink in thanks... getting August to dance to this might have been a challenge.

the performance would do des'ree proud, and she moves and continues to draw others in, flirting a great deal, but it is talent not sex appeal that really gets the crowd engaged

August seems very content to stand and sway with Coradel where she is.

Laughing, Coradel peels away from August a bit, dancing for him more than with him, a spin, a shimmy...she's clearly been practicing dance, if not this kind of dance specifically. She's certainly no match for Phyzante, and isn't trying to be, isn't trying to steal her performance, merely to enjoy it.

Jennette and Sparrow come onto Phyzante's performance in the last 2/3rd of the song

Another little grin, and he takes the cuff of her sleeve, pulling her close, then letting her spin back out.

And the Eshu lets her midsection writhe almost hypnotically for Sparrow and Jennette as if swaying just to cause the couple to put their heads closer, "You gotta be bad, you gotta be bold, you gotta be wiser

A surprised laugh as August spins her, delighted.

His face lights up at that.

That belly button does get a long gaze. How does it do that?

Jennette stares with amazement, then looks to sparrow as if to see if she knows the answer to that question, then seeing she doesn't, smiles and looks back.

"We might have a challenge to figure out, yes?"

A smile threatens to break the song, almost laughter from the performer but she holds the notes ...

Coradel's only encouraged by August's response, and urges him to dance a bit more than swaying.

He follows her lead; not well, he seems to be mostly copying and is not ready to really let GO with it, but....

Indeed, the eshu's dancing slips in a mix of styles.

She doesn't push him to experiment too much as the song is ending. When it does, she applauds the eshu and cheers her, then gives August an enthusiastic hug and kiss.

August also applauds, watching Coradel as he does, and yet is STILL surprised by the hug and kiss. Happily so.

The Eshu bows "Thank you all, I am Phyzante. If you enjoyed, feel free to put some money or dross in the hat in the corner .. I may not win, and if not will console myself with expensive chocolates."

That gets some laughs

She laughs, and nods appreciation at the hat in the corner, but doesn't move to contribute. She murmurs to August, "I don't want to give the impression of having picked anybody, yet."

August nods. "Of course not." Understanding completely.

Jennette whispers to Sparrow "You think you could learn to dance like that? I could be your audience."

Sparrow, however, does - but then, observant boggans may have noticed tips slipped to all of the others. Even the clurichaun.

"I would need an audience. You know, for critiques..."

Coradel spots Sparrow and Jeannette, and tugs August over to join them. "Have you seen them all, yet? Any favorites? We still need to see two, I think."

August seems a bit flushed but nods in greeting to them both.
