A grumble.

Gerd shrugs "I know, i know."

Symon doesn’t have to say “not it”, his expression is enough.

SIGH. "Where's the fight?"

"Big top" She says "Come on.." ANds he makes a motion "Hippity HOppity, to Arena property"

and they all hopscotch and land near a large tent where cheers are breaking from

Symon wobbles and gives Gerd a glare. “For that I shouldn’t tell you about Madam Sly’s witchery shop...”

"With cookies. Gerd, can you hold my pack?"

"Rude!" Gerd says "I was rushed" She takes the pack "Got it"

Grunt, and she puts on her helm.

Zane says "We have another contestant!"

“Wait... weapons allowed?”

"Yes, but no cantrips"

He jerks at Dagmar’s sleeve before she can rush in and not hear him. “Lemme see the business end of your pigsticker.”

"They said no cantrips..."

“A whetstone ain’t a cantrip.”

"Oh, okay!"

She holds out Flyswatter where he can reach.

He takes his new whetstone and quickly swipes it along the blade, working to bring it to a sharp edge. If it seems like a cantrip is being cast he pauses- but otherwise tries to get the most wickedly Sharp edge he can in a short time.

It sparks

He pockets the stone and hands the weapon back over, using both arms to lift the dang thing.

"Thanks." She hefts up the halberd and turns to the arena.

As she enters, "And to assist our Redcap ..." A voice booms like she waas a monstert truck "She's Strong, She's Loyal, she's Insecure! DAAAAAME DAGMAAAAR HAMMERSTRIKE AP GWYDION!!!!"

“Why do I get the feeling we paid for our whole seats but we’ll only need the edge?”

"Oh, for fuck's sake..."

“Truck’s sake.” Symon whispers, but thankfully is out of earshot.

"I got this" Dirk says as he's straining under a Steampunk armored T rex

"We have a mission."

Dagmar strides up and SWINGS at the dinosaur.

The T-Rex's armor takes the worst of it, but she HAS it's attention, as it turns

"Hi." She arcs the polearm at its legs.

And it clatters and bellow tripping...

Dirk bites down on an armored plate, and creates and unprotected spot. CHEW CHEW Gulp

Dagmar raises Flyswatter high and then bears it down on the vulnerable spot.

The T Rex howls in pain, while voices of commentors somehow carry through "Oh, right through the not so funny bone.... that Dagmar's a beast!" "Not until Samhain she's not.." "Hahahhahaha"

Sylvi and Lucia arrive at a sprint and push through the crowd enough to be able to see.

Flyswatter is a vicious weapon in Dagmar's hands.

But the Rex SNARLS and Snaps... biting down hard on Dagmar trying to swollow her whole

"NO!!!" Sylvi cries out.

Not if she can whack its maw away!

Blows are exchanged, rather than swallowing the troll whole (Hey that rhymes) The T Rex takes a bite only to get it's maw driven back

Dirk howls "KING KONG AIN'T GOT SHIT ON ME!" And leaps at it

Sylvi turns to a bystander, "What are the rules? Can others help?"

"Nope. NO outside help. Two fighters only. NO cantrips. Treasures are okay.. THEIR Treasures, not yours. " then a a pause "popcorn?" an offer

Gerd says "Oh if either dies we are in DEEP shit with Anne Marie or the Other Kings"

Dagmar works on bludgeoning off some cybernetics.

Distracted, Sylvi shakes her head at the offer of popcorn.

“Nothing a little glamour won’t fix?”

"Who thought this was a good idea in the first place?" she asks, mostly rhetorically.
