"It is said that there is a mystical statue hidden in their vaults that, if melted down, would produce a blade beyond compare." He whispers in a mysterrrious tone.

Dagmar... feels odd about that. It's not a lie... because by saying it, he made the statement true... but it's IFFY....

It's kind of bonking a bit

"Why for am I not sure of this... but I tell you, something, boyo.. you say this is so, is so... "And glamour flows "Yes, is deal. Blade. Statue. Beyond the comparing. I will see to this. But you will find Madame Sly two shops that way and one ring out." An eye "yes.. bargain trade has been done. Truth now. We are good"

He looks a little unsure that he really got the better of that deal... but he'll take it.

And the Dwarf grins "Unless you are wanting something else?"

“Trade you a rat skull for a whetstone?” He attempts.

Grunt.

"I admire your chutzpah, let me see rat skull"

He brings out a small box from his bag of ‘trade goods’ which does indeed have a small selection of skulls. One appears to have been crushed with clear feline fang indentations, another is pristine, and the last is painted in one of those ‘blacker than black’ colors and seems to disappear on the black background of you don’t know it’s there.”

"Mmm I think maybe the one pristine or the one painted. For whetstone, Good?"

“I used beetles to clean off the squish tissues”. He grins toothlessly, offering over the clean white skull.

He offers a whetstone in returns. It seems to have a kind of spark to it

“Anything I should know about it?” He asks, accepting.

"It make sharp, also can make spark, maybe leave out during next thunderstorm" A nod "Good for 666 sharpenings."

Snort.

"Figured he would like"

A grin, he nods to the shopkeeper, and they can move on.

"Okay, so it's not far... man, this place is HUGE..."

They move on, and see.. behind them, foot steps? It's that eshu guy that was in that smaller group heading the same way

Dagmar looks back. "Seriously, dude?"

"Oh. Hello" He says "Wait, what are you two doing this way?"

"Why are you after them?"

"After what?" He says trying to sound..well, like he doesnt' want to admit being after ANYTHING?

"The thing you're after."

"I never said I was after anything... "A pause "Okay I might be after something"

"Right."

A steady look.

Trell sighs "I'm not supposed to talk about it, but it's important we get the.. things. Are you after the same things?"

"Why is it important you get them?"

While Dagmar speaks to the Eshu, Symon attempts to sidle on over to the booth...

And so Symon does.

"Not supposed to talk about " Trell repeats "Look, I maybe.." He looks at his tag "An easy going door mat" offended "But you're interfering with our quest." True

"But we have a quest."

The booth Symon has gone to is more to his liking, it has a kind of seedy underground look to it, like the sort of place you can get actual LEAD figurines

"But, like... if what you're doing is... like... honorable..."

“Madame Sly?” He whispers... intrigued. Now this is his type of shopping....

Trell says "We're honorable.." Wobbly truth "okay, not sure on the honor, but it's for a good cause"

the shutters on the booth open, and a pair of eyes glitter like a rat's, "That is the name. Who seeks me?"

"Yeah?"

"Yeah... but..hey, wheree's your friend?" The Eshu says "Oh great.. I just got suckered"

“I’m not sure if it’s you I’m looking for.” He responds politely enough. “We’re looking for the kith-altering cookies from The Baker. Would your shop deal in that sort of sundry?” Eyes lingering on the shelves.

"Suckered? Dude, I'm genuinely asking. If it's a good cause, maybe we can work together?"

"You're decoying me while he's doing this.. not very honorable" Trell says... proving Eshu can be a bit reckless

A slow eyebrow.

"I would consider what you just said for a moment, roll it around your head."

On the shelves Symon sees variegated tincture, a brass ring fashioned to look like skeletal hands shaking, a compact for make up but with a medusa face on it, and yes, there are cookies.

Cookies, yes, but are they THE cookies? He admires the ring.

"Oh...shit" Trell says with a sigh "She said Gwydions could be tricky to deal with"
