Amity dodges some bullets, barely, someone has a gun that works, crap crap crap!

She scratches at that one's face.

With the tight confines of the stairs, her small size is an advantage - hard to shoot her without putting another person at risk.

Briar backs away quickly as the door opens, then shouts, "Let's book it, pidge!"

Trey leaps out and looks at one fellow, "Hey, Martha says hello." / That fellow cries out as haunting images appear about him. His Ex, that Bitch who took broke his heart, dumped him, AND kept his metallica shirt is there.. and she's a vampire! There's not one of her, but three! He shoots wildly and kills one of his fellows, as Amity knew might be a risk. To the Changelings? Three new Chimera have manifested saying such things as "You GAVE me the shirt, asshole, you don't get to do backsies."

Amity frantically flaps upstairs, away from the blood and chaos.

Glass bowwoos! And follows... and our Redcap?

Well, Redcaps intimidate! Looking for a path out, Briar might just GLARE snarl or threaten her way through if she'd like to try

One guy makes a hole and she pushes through, they both come up to find another woman with a gun, she fires, and the gum in THAT causes the gun to just jam, "Shit, they're kids? " / Trey somehow has appeared near the girls while the hunters are now fighting among themselves, it's as if he came out of nowhere. "I can't think you enough for.."

Police Sirens sound nearby! An earlier 911 call and gunshots having perhaps stired the response time

"My note said no cops!" Trey looks betrayed!

"I got an in with the cops..." Briar starts, then belatedly remembers, whoops, not HERE I don't... and she pivots.

"Shut your gob or use it to bite someone." Briar grunts, then asks, "Can you go outside?"

She looks out a window, checking the time.

"Partly cloudy with some sunshine .... " Trey says "I could go outside, thought about it, but I'd cook like a salmon on a grill in sunlight, Wyld Ones. " He grabs a sheet off some furniture and throws it over him "Dont' suppose you know some place outside with shade?"

Still a day, though close to sunset.

Darn summer months!

Amity is huddled on top of the fridge, shivering. Maybe overlooked in the chaos.

Briar looks to Amity, "Can you drive a... aw hell." Briar abandons helping the boy and goes over to reach a hand up at the pigeon. "C'mere."

Amity is oddly one of the safest folks here!

Trey stares at the bird "She's sparkles and energy all in a bird form... suddenly the Gangrowls seem dull."

A distressed warble, but she crawls onto the redcap's offered hand.

Briar whistle softly to Glass, and says to her, "Glass, BUNKER." Having trained her dog a few Important things. Bite, Track, get help, and of course, find a hideout for when Briar is in trouble.

To Trey she says, "Follow Glass. Remember, if you hurt her, I'll hunt ya to the ends of the earth and through hell after that." Conversationally.

"Me and Pidge are gonna split before the fuzz gets here."

"That's fair, thanks!" Trey says, "Here," He presses something into the free hand of the Redcap "I don't know what it does, but it wasn't meant for me. It.. it makes me remember things I forgot kind of. Of oaths and shoes and sealing wax and even elven kings. Now go, friend, and may I never get past the first billion."

Briar can feel the bird trembling in her hands.

"Whatever!" Briar accepts the thing, knows that if she needs to, she - or Glass- can track the guy down later.

Amity cradeled close even though Briar stinks of blood, she barrels up the stairs and away if she can.

Saying goodbye to Glass (And it better not be forever) and taking her shaking feathered friend, previously scoping out this place proves to be wise! Out the back door of the kitchen, away from the sirens, and into the high grain country where no one can find them. They must run for ten minutes away from the madness.

Ooops, the bike was left behind. Oh well, it's not hers!

Briar sniffs, looking for running water.

And finds it. She knows how to hunt, and she knows how to avoid being hunted. Zag through a stream, double back further up, and trails will be lost.

Yes, that, but more importantly she sets down the shaking bird on a nice warm spot on a sunny rock, and starts rinsing the blood off.

"Sorry Cherry..." Briar grunts, does she still think that's the pooka's name? Any ways...

"I guess that's what you get for hanging out with bad company. You okay?" Carefully dabbing at feathers with a... is that a dampened handkerchief embroidered with roses? It IS!

Thorny vined roses, but still, flowers.

Away from the house, and safe, Amity can finally start to calm down. She coos back, all bubbly pigeon flock-notes.

"Yeah yeah, cluck cluck." Briar mutters back at her, and seems to be checking that all feathers are in place.

Amity's little bird heart stops thundering rapid fast. Indeed, and she notes what her friend has on her, the thing the vampire gave her, and she might just jump for joy. In the ancient times, a time before Streaming, a Dreamer named Henson helped construct a world based in no small part on a famed Fairy expert (and Artist) about a girl who gave her brother up and had to quest to get him back (Honestly, it's possible Amity could understand wanting to give up Egon some days), and a sidhe stand in, though they mislabled him a Goblin King, was portrayed by an actor who some say was trulyth kithain himself, or at least Kinian. In the movie he had crystals that danced around his fingers ... and with each musical set in the show, those crystals took in a bit more glamour... or so it is said, but they were lost from the set, at least some where. Lost to man and fae forever... until, it seems now.

For one of them is here. Small, a mere prop, and yet, well, even if the treasure's power is no caliburn, it does have power...

This one? IT reminds you

Indeed, just being near Briar, she feels a stronger tie to her place on the wheel. It truly would do NOTHING for a Malkavian. (But to changelings, this is a bonus to Remembrance when held)

Amity spreads her wings, allowing Briar to poke and prod - it's a show of trust, freely given.

Briar notices something lumpy in her pocket and sets the orb next to Amity, then does a double-take.

"Well, shit. What do you think Drac was doing with THIS pretty rock?"

If Amity were a Raven she might be in 'shiny' object' delight! might still be.

Amity covers her face with a wing and trills?

A moment after Briar closes her eyes, she hears a soft rustle and - "I didn't know vampires came in grade-school size. And... I... sorry. For... " She swallows the rest into a warble. "Sorry."
