"Shit, bird, I didn't even believe they were REAL!" Briar admits, "I thought that was just more of that Prodigal BS they feed us childlings to keep us safe at home, don't go out at night or the werewolves will eat ya, and all that garbage."

"...don' like cages..." Quietly mumbled.

"But... DAMN, girl, you went at his eyes like one of mulady's (this is one word to the redcap) trained hawks! SCREE!" Impressed.

"You were brave. And that's hard when you're a lil wimp."

"All squishy and feathers, barely one bite, But you got CLAWS OUT like a falcon."

"You're not my Friend." Firmly.

"No I ain't" Firmly back, "We're Spit sisters, remember?"

Coo! She bobs her head.

"I wasn't scared. I mean, I get how you were, but I wasn't" Briar says, boldly lying.

"Uh-huh. Ain't never not seen Les never not bite a whole arm off!"

A pause, and she starts counting negatives on her fingers. "Not ever?"

"No shit? He's legit too." A whistle, then, "That sucker better not bite my dog." Gruff to hide the worry.

"I mean, he owes us. Right?"

Uncertain. To FAE, a promise has meaning, but do Vampires respect that?

If only she'd listened to those lessons!

"Well, you ever read those stories about what happens if you double cross a fairy?"

"Whatcha think the odds some old baby vampire has?"

"Huh. They live long enough they might get bored enough to read." She allows, then remembers, "Hey, yeah! He was around before TeeVee and the INTERNET! What ELSE was there to do?"

"I dunno. Checkers?"

As if summoned by wishes and worries, for there IS magic in that even if the world has forgotten, there is a sound of something four legged approaching. Normally Glass gives a woof or howl, but now she approaches quietly.

"Snuffles, you wretched mutt." Briar exclaims, and starts looking her over carefully.

Amity picks up the shiny crystal and holds it up to catch the last orange rays of daylight.

"Huh. You remind me of the babe." She rolls the orb from hand to hand.

Snuffles aka Glass did not howl because her mouth is full with a VERY big bone!

Could be a human part... oh wait, it's not. Whew.

As Amity touches and plays with the crystal, she can feel a certainty of her place on the wheel, a stronger connection to her past and draw on it more easily. She can almost hear the flutter of wings inside the crystal and see images but they are as yet, unclear.

She coos and peers into the depths.

Briar is more intrigied by the bone for a moment. Never DID get any pizza.

(if you have remembrance it just went up by one while holding this, if you have none, you have 1 dot. Only while playing with it, of course, circling it on fingers seems to work best, or perhaps singing 'Remind me of the babe' as she did a bit ealrier)

"You earned it, girl!" Briar grins. "Guess what, Glass hunted down a bison while we were runnin!"

"Wow! Or rather, Aw-woooooooooo-ow."

Briar laughs at that

"Hey, if there's were-wolves, do you think there's were-dogs?"

"Yeah, my boss's son is one. Lives in Rivervale."

"Yer a were-pigeon!"

"I am! Cursed to transform every thursday the fourteenth!"

"Rivervale? There's another pook? Not that I care."

Briar checks her watch and seems to be looking at her fingers

"AWOOO!" The blood hound joins in, the gnaws on the bone.

And all the drama over... the three bask in a sunset and Freindship... err Spit sisterhood.
