Nessa can see him lifting a staff with a white crystal

Nessa's brow furrows a bit, and she swallows. This youngster is the magician? Well, stranger things have happened...

"Is this... safe?"

"Hopefully!" Grin!

She can't help it, she reaches back out for Sparrow's hand...

"Oh... wait.. Yeah, keep doing that, hold hands so I can drain it out of both of you" he says

Otha blinks "Both?"

Nessa pulls her hand back guiltily, flushing.

"I... it just..." she stammers.

"Both?" Brows lift.

"Oh, Nessa..." Gently.

Softly. "I know you... don't.. don't want to... he should take it away. Right?" Eyes seeking on Sparrow's face, though she cannot see her back.

"Yeah she's.. oh sorry" The satyr lowers the staff "Ah.. this may not work completely. Mostly my staff draws out negative emotions.. unnatural ones too. Cupid magic isn't usually negative and they'd protest it's magical, but it should safetly take the edge off at the least for Nessa, and remove it from the baroness entirely since her eyes are blocked"

"It should wear off safely, shouldn't it?"

She rubs the back of her neck. "I.. I am not sure how I feel about removing it once active, versus it being more... potential..."

"I don't want you to feel... I don't want you to worry about me. If you think it's best... let the wizard work. I'm ready." A nod, lips pressed together.

"Well, either that or real love blooms" Zane says "That's how most cupids work. Hasn't anyone read the treastie on Love, Lust, and Pixie dust by Professor Cavannaa ap Fiona?"

"It was nice to feel it... but..." Inhale, and she says more firmly, "It's okay." And takes Sparrow's hand again, trying to ignore the little thrill that runs through her at the touch. "I think I'm ready."

Sparrow frowns. "Right, of course..."

A little squeeze of Nessa's hand.

He raises he staff "Let nothing false linger, let the perverse be drawn, freeing these two from arrows one and arrows two, love will have another time to dance."

Sparrow's wings droop. She didn't want the infatuation... but this still feels... unhappy.

A squeeze of her hand, reassuring.

The energy bubbles in both.. the energy starts to flow from Sparrow, and Nessa... but never quite leaves hem.. as the crystal drinks it in.. then suddenly.. the poor satyr is YANKED forward and slammed into a wall

Nessa gasps! "Are you okay?!"

and the arrow energgy goes bakc into the women, but.. different somehow

"OW" He says

Otha looks at Bix "this is your expert?"

Bix says "Uhh.."

"What happened?"

Wings mantle, concern.

And yet, Neesa and Sparrow feel there HAS been a difference. Sparrow can consider Neesa as a romantic partner, see there is much abou her to be loved. Much worth getting to know. But it's not compulsoary it's...just an awareness she didn't have before

And Neesa realizes that Sparrow is wonderful and nice, like she already thought, but feels a kind of ... wiser outlook. She realizes she barely knows the woman really, not yet, and that it's okay to admire her, but don't worship her.

"One or both of you didn't want it gone" he says "or something" Getting up slow "I don't know who.. but there was a.. kind of...vote... between you subconciously"

"It's.. like you kept some of it.. only as much as ... felt right?" He rubs "God my back"

Sparrow cautiously lifts the blindfold.

She does not long for Bix, cerainly. She can admi Otha would be more her type. And.. Nessa? A glance there...it's more like a rush of empathy, she sees Nessa's better qualiies as they are. No false hood here.

Even so, a flush of color behind her freckles.

And Nessa feels the same in a way... she has new insight into what's good about Sparrow, but also understands some of her fears a bit, some of what makes her imperfect and that's okay

"Ah, well. I can live with this."

Nessa realizes that she's still holding Sparrow's hand, and... with a little reluctance, lets it go. Rising and trotting over to Zane, "Here, let me see..." Fingers lightly touching his back, checking to see if it's more than a bruise.

He's lucky, just a bruise and maybe a bit of a strain "Is it okay if I ggeek out meeting a real life centaur?" He says 'Go greek am I right?"

"You should take it easy..." Her fingertips cool and soothing on his skin before drawn away, her cheeks pinking a bit as she realizes she was nearly groping him unrequested. "Ahhh, I'm sorry."

"So you mean 'greek out'... I'm so sorry..."

"No like.. were both Greek kiths.. centurs and satyrs.. I.. that felt great, wish you didn't stop but. .thanks, Better" He says to Sparrow then Nessa "I'm sorry, it didn't work like I thought it would, but you should be..well, more moderate in the effect?"

Sparrow nods. "This feels much better, thank you." She glances at Nessa, and a shy smile flickers across her features.

Nessa's cheeks pink again at the smile... and she feels a flutter...

Bix looks over "Damn, Zane. I know it wasn't what you expected but..."

"But there's no negative glamour, indeed, the only glamour I sense is their own" Otha admits "My apologies, Zane. You're skilled"

"You're Bix, right?" She looks to the Troll. "I've been wanting to talk to you..."
