Sam watches the group go, before turning to head for Ti...Jimmy's.

As Brekke goes one way, Sam goes the other... and soon is at Jimmy's grandmother's house

"Well, we should be able to talk. My grandma's got her hearing aid out and is a sleep" he motions her in "Census? Oh.. is this about the little burning chick? "

"Yep .. I think it wants to be a phoenix, but somethings wrong with it. It's stunted" He leads her up the steps. the house feels old but cozy... "Mind your head up the steps. It's a bit uhmm short for you"

She does, indeed, have to duck.

"I can be a bit oversized."

"Just the hair" he grins and they make it to his room up stairs. No bird cage here, rather a small Brazier with the most pathetic scrawny chimerical bird you've ever seen

"I'm feeding it glamour, but the poor thing is barely holding on" He does look a bit low

"Awww!" How does such a big troll make such a squeaky girly noise?

"You're keeping it alive. Oh, Jimmy, you're doing great!"

"Yeah but I only got so much glamour" he admits

"Right, you can't drain yourself. So we need to figure out what it needs..."

the scrawny near featherless bird coughs sickly, then chirps to see Jimmy and brightens, a bit of a candle flame at the top of it's heaed for just a sec

"Well, I tried to get it fuel? But I don't want to burn the house down"

"No... have you tried kenning? Willow whisper?"

"Kenning shows it's going to ..well, die or pop? It's not mature enough to do a usual phoenix cycle.. still barely past a chick. So death won't help it I don't think" Worried

Dagmar kenns it herself, for good measure.

Oh this is frail... maybe it's one of those minor fluff chimera MEANT to die?

"Kay." Dagmar takes her orange from Snow, and carefully works on unpeeling it in one long strip.

"While I do this, think about questions besides 'what do you need to thrive?"
