Brekke applauds, each clap emphatic approval.

"Refill your coffee, Chieftain?" Says a piskie

And Dagmar advances to the next round.

Brekke looks at the piskie...is it anybody she recognizes? Of course, piskie, so that might be tricky....

It's not Jimmy, or wahtever his name is, but he does look familiar somehow. Maybe because he's a piskie

Dagmar gets a clap on the back from Siv "Woot" the medics are helping the sidhe foe up, who bows once she can stand straight

She nods. "Thank you, yes." Then she also turns to praise Dagmar. "Well fought. You did well to wait."

Dagmar gives the foe a firm handshake. "Good fight."

"Thanks Chief." The praise wins a smile.

Brekke also nods approval at the sidhe's sportsmanship.

The sidhe shakes the hand back "Wrong strategy, and likely my only chance. An honor"

"Dr. Pepper, good knight?" A piskie offers Dagmar an ice cold one

"What is your name?" Brekke asks the piskie (who has brought her a coffee refill?).

"May we meet on the same side, in the future. Ooo, Dr. Pepper..."

"Madern, Chieftain" He says "Most folks call me Ernie"

And yes, he's been helping out

"Ernie," she nods, making an effort to remember the name. "Thank you."

"Welcome, let me know if your squires need any help polishing armor or cleaning blades etc." He says

"Ah. Thank you, but...Squire Valter seems to have all well in hand."

Indeed, Valter also raised a brow, but is not offended

"Right. Drinks it is" Ernie says

When he departs, Brekke looks to Dagmar. "Did that seem odd to you?"

Squint. Nod.

"Next rounds of Single Melee" A voice calls "Will Chieftain Brekke and Thane Targys please present themselves?"

"Hmm." Then her name is called, and she turns to claim her helm from Squire Valter and then head into the ring.

Targys is a brute of an Unseelie troll and wears a symbol of some holding she doesn't recognize.

Dagmar goes to the sidelines to root for the Chief!

Dagmar's father's head nods, a chin lift held... a slight smile ("Proud")

Brekke sizes up the opponent. "I do not recognize your hold's symbol, Thane. Where do you hail from?"

"Chieftain, I am of Golden Sigil Duchy, from the County of...________" A smile " I thought you might want a challenge outside of your usual small pond, Gardenarian"

Off to the side of the ring, Ernie hears a voice he's heard before. "Hey! Mad Ernie!" It's Sylvi, and she's giving him a look that's somewhere between annoyed and amused.

"HEY, Sylvi, how's it going, great win for Gold Finch by Piper huh?" Ernie smiles

"Golden Sigil?" A nod. "Welcome to Bergen, and I welcome your challenge."

BROW. At the nickname.

"It really was. Piper rocked it." Sylvi tilts her head at Ernie. "I think you might have something of mine."

"I do? OH.. yeah, so sorry, sec" He digs through his pockets. No wonder he wears cargo pants with numerous pockets

"Nope nope... " Ernie searches

Sylvi folds her arms.

MEanwhile, the match starts up

Brekke has gone back to her side of the ring, put her helm on, and taken Speaker in hand...and strides forcefully back to the center, weapon ready to strike down HARD.

"Found it.." Ernie pulls out a ring. Wait, hers doesn't have a ruby
