And she has done this before, though it's flexible. And, well, Mickey is in her blood right? Maybe that will help!

There are literal HOOPS to fly through, posts to touch way way up, and other obstacles challenges! Piper flies her heart out, trying to tap into that natural athetiicism that is the blessing of her kith in any form! She can hear Siv cheering ,and.. even Jonas! But they're not alone! Rikki calls out "Give them the bird, give them the bird!" And suddenly a lot of goldfinchers join in, chanting 'GIVE THEM THE BIRD!" ... and Piper, who loves playing for a crowd, finds herself flying for one!

She can't help it, as she flies she also sings, birdsong, but lovely none the less!

Well, that gets some folks not even of GOldfinch chuckling or even humming along!

She ventures a glance around to see how she's doing!

She's almost at the finish line! The troll with the stop watch waits for her to arrive

She just needs one quick push! This is where most threaten to tire out!

She puts in effort and pushes her wings to the limit! Her lungs are strong from many years of vocal training!

She hears CHEERS but also a troll yells professionally "TIME"

And the time is named, the best yet!

Indeed, she even beats out Gerd, who takes it with grace... more or less "Two lousy seconds"

And the goldfinchers go crazy

She takes a bow after returning to satyr form, and offers out business cards for Goldfinch. “Music AND musing lessons available! Bring your dreamer!”

Jonas arches a brow "She's into marketing now?" But there's more tease than displeasure

Siv gives her a kiss "I'm in so much trouble now, you actually had me root against Gerd, but proud of you"

“Ha! Did I get a free ticket ticket to a dip in the lake?”

"Now that the water's getting cold... mAAAAYYYBE" Gerd says behind her, but if Piper turns around the wilder has her own hand extended to shake

She shakes with a grin!

“I thought you had me there. It was luck that I was small enough to zip past in the hoop loops.”

"Yeah size is a real advantage there" Gerd shakes, and no, no lake town, "But cantrips allow you to provide your own thrust with less effort so it still evens out"

“You COULD have swatted me out of the way.” She grins

"Congratulations" Gerd adds, and looks at Jonas and Siv "Jonas, why didn't YOU take bird form and try, you have a lot more practice than Piper? "

Jonas considers this, then says "I don't think I would have done as well. I would have tried to puzzle out the best path when I was supposed to be flying. I am told I sometimes over think matters"

“Besides, I begged him.” Piper grins. “I’ve gotten a taste for flight.”

"Oh so it's not your first time in ... " Gerd says "Well that'll teach me to get cocky. Well earned, Piper, rematch later I hope" A good smile

“Sure!” Perkily. “Singing contest next?” Grin

"Pass" Gerd chuckles

“Let’s see how the crafting contrasts are! I wanted to try that dish that Hearth Kerri was being so secretive about.”

Dagmar is in the single melee match against a hackensack sidhe who is smart enough not to go strength first strength, and is instead trying to wear her down. Trolls aren't always blessed with Stamina , not anymore than sidhe anyway

Symon watches from the sidelines and places discrete bets, if anyone is fool enough to bet against the Hammerstrike.

Increasingly few are, but there are always those out of towners who don't know any better

Squire Valter, in the mean time, tends to Brekke's armor and weapon fetching. While he stands out compared to much younger squires, he is very good at giving any using his services prompt attention and what they require

Trolls aren't always, no. But Dagmar? Is.

Brekke watches Dagmar's bout from the sidelines.

She has already expressed approval of Squire Valter's work. He knows the task and does it well.

Dagmar finds her foe is pretty skilled, and not a bad strategy ... if it weren't for years running up and down a court and long patrols.

Indeed, basketball demands stamina. Patrols moreso. She has reach and patience. It is possible that the sidhe's strategy to wear Dagmar out might prove the opposite occurs.

And it does, while her foe's shield work has been good enough to take the brunt of Dagmar's blows, that shield work starts to lag, and then... Dagmar sees it, the weariness that buys the few seconds of an opening that any good warrior can use to great effect!
