"Don't pester, I'm getting to it" She says reading Brow, not as well as Jaymes would, but certainly better than Siv "Too long didn't read version- I stumbled onto some jerks trying to assassinate the Count . They planted a bomb in Kerri's booth for when the Count would come by for some sweet puffs or whatever... I got caught. Connor stole their remote, rescued me, and in our efforts to get ride of the bomb a storm was released ,and I launched the boom up"

"I know, right?" She says "he's fine yes. They healed our injures. But he feels bad sacrificing a present he got for someone, and for knocking the htanes around after they shot me"

His hand twitches a little, like a flipping paw in his sleep.

"Actually, the little idiot shouldn't have been injured at all. I tried to shield him from the explosive blast, and he tried to shield ME back. " Concerned look for him "Stubborn cuss. I told him never ever to do that again. I'm the troll, and big sister. And he tried to pull rank."

"By now theyr'e either caught or miles and miles away. I suspect caught" Gerd says saying it to make it more true

She holds up her phone "Wudlig sent me like a bajillion worried texts. And a hundred more when he found out I was in here. Some of them very sweet"

A smile "So do I... he's.. gentle" A pause "Why do boys always act like that's an embarrasing thing to be called?"

"Boys." As if that's an answer.

"Anyway, Your squire got a nasty scare, probably feels guilty, and is a bit dinged, but he's a tough little trooper and probably deserves some spoilng from everyone if you dont' mind my two cents"
