Back at her booth...or where her booth was...Kerri is still blinking at the remains.

(Booth) And it seems a manhunt for the assassins is on. Olgar looks at his wife "I'm gonna go help Vali and Tiffany hunt those shits down. You okay?"

She sets her jaw and nods. "Go. Get them." No further preamble, and perhaps more than a fair bit of vengeance in her undertone.

He nods "With pleasure" And off he goes

"Mom? Mom!" Sylvi comes running up, whether or not Colton is right behind her. "What the heck happened?! Are you okay?!"

Colton is along

Then he blinks "Where's your booth?"

"All in all?" Kerri sighs. "I may not be so concerned about turkey legs or judges anymore."

To Colton she gives a wry grin. "There appears to have been a struggle, doesn't there?"

And with a sigh, she fills them in on what part of the story she knows, at least.

Sylvi stares. "But...but you're okay?"

"I'm okay." Kerri reassures.

Sylvi nods, then looks to Colton. "Wanna go hunting?" She looks angry and determined, her spear no longer looking so much like a dance prop.

"Yes.. we can mourn for the lost pastries later" He looks at the wreckage

Then heads off with his girlfriend

"Oh, trust me..." Kerri waves them off vaguely. "Not much worth mourning. Go."

And something amazing happens, a group of boggans, not cooks, but rather foremen type begin to assemble a new booth... and hook a portable oven

They do it faster when she doesn't watch

She pointedly doesn't watch. Oh, look, mud puddles.

Meanwhile, Sylvi and Colton join the hunt for the baddies.

And Gerd and DAGMAR talk a bit.. when Dagmar hears "Don't let her get away!" Outside the healer tent

"Hunh..." She goes to look.

A redcap wearing a green cap shoots past the tent, sadly not in reach. She looks pissed, a bit scared, and hateful. In her left hand, shuriken or some sort?

Gerd had mentioned the redcap in the green cap... so... Dag follows.

SYLVI and Colton from another angle, hear the same cry! From a thane clutching at his leg which has a barbed star in it

If he gestures towards the person to be stopped, Sylvi is only too happy to give chase!

It's not a good day for the Redcap in green.

Dagmar closes, she turns "back off!" Trying to scare her "Or I'll eat your face and shit out your nose"

Snort.

And then Sylvi comes into view , the Cap sees her spear, and says "Fine, save HER from the poison" And flings the star at what's Syvi's face

Sylvi sees it coming in time, and manages to get the narrow shaft of her spear into JUST the right position to catch the point of the star.

THWACK!

...while doing a pretty impressive back walk-over, by the way.

"Oh Fuck me" The cap snarls "Are all you blue suck ups ninjas?"

Colton is furious "YOu know, a redcap once bit off my arm. I got better. You won't"

Sylvi charges the 'cap.

DAGMAR sees the cap is flanked

Dagmar flanks from the other side - not just big and blue, but also currently in a tin can of shiny armor.

Spear tip aimed right for it...but at the last moment she wavers the tip away and tries to hit the cap with the star that's still stuck to the spear shaft.

Indeed, that armor serves Dagmar well as the Cap BITES at her trying to get away by going through.. the armor scars, but doesn't tear... and then suddenly there's a star edge in her leg!

Grunt. She clocks the cap good and square on the noggin.

Sylvi steps back, spear ready.

Tweeting birds..little vultures, pop up around the the redcap's head as she is dazed by the BOP that threatened to make her hat interior. Then as she twists about in confusion trying to get focus...Colton slams her in the face with a shield hard!

And she drops to her knees, but is not quite out

She manages "We almost killed a legend... we almost.."

"Who set you up to do it?" Sylvi demands.

"Set us up? Bitch, this is our calling..." And she takes a wild swing, but it's sloppy

Sylvi steps out of range, spear still pointed at her. "You did this just for shit and giggles?!"
