A hug, a moment.. then her gag off and blindfood.. "Connor you're wonderful... SO going to fuss at you later..." SOmetimes sisters make less sense than pooka "I want you to head to the truck. Okay? Its far from where the bomb is. I have to stop it"

He shakes his head! "No! I ran away and was gonna leave you here." He snuffles. "I ain't running away no more. I'm running to it! With you!" And shows her the remote. "Do we need to smash it or will that make it boom?" Tempted to hit it with a rock, but it DOES have that big red button.

"You've got the remote? Oh you've really saved the... I know, TIffany.. she knows how to disarm bombs... but I think she's in an event. There's no time we.. oh wait.. hold on little brother. Do you have any dross? I'll pay you back"

"Only if you take me." He gives her his best troll glower. And he IS gripping her hand in a deathgrip! As he slides a round stone with a hole through it into her palm. He's lucky he told a good story earlier and kept his dross...

"Fine.. now when I say to press the big red button, then and only then do you press it" She says taking up his dross as she mutters a spell "You understand?"

"Roger Dodger, red is said!"

And she chants... using a bit of dross

And Gerd and he fly up, and up. Remote in his hand!

And they fly above the crowd. Rather than look for the bad guys, Gerd streaks towards The Hearth's booth!! Guards look up, seeing a bleeding figure up above streaking towards the Count!

"Halt!" They yell at her

And Gerd says "Or I'll say Halt again" in a panic slipping into Valisms

As she keeps flying towards the booth!

Connor sees they are NOT saying halt. They're drawing Bows and aarrows! Chimerical ones but hey

HEY. They're about to shoot them down.

Connor howls in distress and weaves his fingers together. "Awooo woooo! There's no need to Fear! Under Dog is Here!" He sings, but also tries to do something NAUGHTY and will likely be scolded later. As he attempts to cast Legerdemain to Ensnare the poor Thanes, imagining one of Jack's clingy Jelly-bean-Pole plants growing up and holding onto their arms and hands.

For a moment, Connor feels oh no.. the jelly beans in his pocket try to erupt instead...! Gah! Catrips ! When a cantrip won't do what you want just to be mean! But he manages to cut it off before it goes wild

But he doesn't stop the first arrow, which sinks into Gerd's leg

She grunts, and keeps flying towards the goal

Connor hates to do it... but he pulls out his PRESENT... for Dagmar... and throws the little glass bottle at the ground where the Thanes are shooting from. "Storm magic Goooo!"

"Connor what the..."

Before hell, Hades, or even Heck can be called on.. the orb smashes down amid the guards

and explodes into a storm of lightning, wind, and thunder!

Folks at the tents and booths below scatter as lightning goes BOOM BADDA... and thunder goes RUMBLE GRUMBLE BOOM! The CHimerical thundercloud's face laughs like a mad genie released without orders or wishes! RAIN pours down... winds HOWL (ANd rude howl at that, Connor speaks Howl) and Gerd? Gerd is up there... and evades a bolt of lightning, barrel rolls away from a down draft... "Connor what did you DO?"

But their goal is closer!

The Count is not pleased. He was about to get those little sugary triffles that he loves so much and had Kerri made extra of

now rain pours down, albeit chimerial before he's even within 20 feet. His thanes look to have been knocked around like Bowling pins.. a few have magnetized and are stuck together thanks to the lighnting charing one positive one negative

"They were Shooting! At you! They SHOT you!" He is indignant!

"YEs. I know. I was there!" She sees the Booth, Kerri's booth, and yells "Every down there back. .oh th ey can't hear me. " She chants outloud "Gaia banish this thing from your touch, let it fly from your face like a pimple to burst. Now MOther Earth show mercy to us, and save us from hatred and evil's foul curse"

"Bippity Boppity Don't go Boom!" He adds, adding in whatever glamour he has left to spare through the power of... HUGGING.

And UP the Booth hopscotches. Only , the Count's slightly soggy beloved Sugary delights, along wtih many eclairs, pies, cakes and more, goes up and up, some falling to the ground like a pastry water fall

"NOW Connor!" As it goes up up into the storm and gets whipped up even higher than the hopscotch would, Gerd screams "Press the button NOW!"

"I forgot the remote!" He squeaks!

But of course, he can't help it. He's a pooka. And he pushes the button!

"CONNOR!" Then..

BOOOM!

Well, the BOOM in question is not thunder

But it is spectular

The Chimerical thunderstorm, Connor's gift to Dagmar, is BLOWN apart into numerous confused baby clouds!

The rain stops. The lightning stops.

And Gerd? Gerd twists to catch the worst of the blast. They were not THAT close to the explosion

But closer than anyone else and she shields him

Connor makes it more difficult, wrapping his arms around her!

She is Puptected!

"you stubborn.." as she almost has to wrestle the boy to be the shield

then both are knocked to the ground... or would be If it weren't for a Dictum tellling them "Stop!"

The force of the blast, AND gravity., play rock paper scissors against the Count's dictum... and the Count wins

as they hover right in front of the Count Autumnsbane, he looks irked. Someone destroyed the trifle pastries he was going to eat.

Powerful sidhe are truly frightening and awe inspiring. He commands even the air to still... and Connor looks guilty as all heck as he wishes he could tuck his tail and run away.

"Gerd?" he says surprised

Connor starts to silently sob, shoving his face into her side.
