A cold dr. pepper is provided "Did Lydia tell you that Basil broke out? "

"She confirmed it, yeah. I saw the chimera, though."

"Oh my. He had quite a mix up" she nods "not much of a clue to his past lives I don't think" Marsha says "Darn, for a moment I thought the house was going to turn into a freehold itself...wouldn't THAT be a headache for all involved" A wink "Not sure who would be more alarmed, Cornelius or The Chieftain."

"Heh."

"Well, what's the satyr equivalent to a Lodge?"

"I guess just a hold, but if you mean a special name for it? Nothing specific, satyrs have traditions, but a common name for a hold isn't one of them... I heard of one place they call it 'a Romp', and another 'Pan plaza' but ...as far as I know, nothing as uniformly named as lodge"

"Gotcha."

"oh. I think Piper is using the shower... but come on, I'll introduce you to Basil..as a satyr that is" Marsha says "Obviously you met him" She motions the wilder troll to follow

"Yeah..." She follows.

"Basil, would you like to meet Sam, though as a troll she's called Dagmar." Marsha says

"A troll? Does she have to stay under a bridge or... some.."Basil looks up, and UP.. and UP. "I'm guessing you heard about every joke about weather there is"

Basil looks.. good as a satyr. More fit. Horns aren't quite as big as some, but stylish

"Um... hey." A brief smile.

"Wow... this is so cool" He blurts... then he follows "Sorry. I seem to be kind of riding high"

"We satyrs are enthused about any mood" The professor says "Hello, Dame Dagmar. Glad to have one of the lodge here."

"Sure, satyrs get big moods."

"Trolls are a bit more reserved." She offers out a hand. "Welcome to the club."

Basil shakes it, and yes he can't help but watch his fingers vanish in her mit, but he doesn't say anything rude and he shakes "Thanks. Nice to be here. "

"Yeah - long way from home for a protest..."

"Crazy I know right? But it's something I believe in, and add to that some of the family trouble I had with my mom and dad...well, shit. Seemed like a good way to do the right thing and get a chance to find space"

"Oh, yeah. Well, the Wayburtons are good people."

"Truth" he says

"At some point, you will need to see the Lodge - but I figured you'd be safe here."

"Yeah, I think I am. I was feeling guilty about using Piper's room but ah, she's already got this spot in athe apartments ready for her. I think I'm going to end up loading some furniture"

"Oh, probably. Bet everybody will get recruited."

A sudden grin. "Wait till you discover how fast you are now."

"Fast? this isn't a black thing is it? Cause you and I, we can get away with that..." A smile though to show he's joking

"She's quite serious," Marsha says "Satyrs run faster than .well, any other kith"

"Satyrs are fast, trolls are strong." Shrug.

"Huh" he says "never been much of athlete, thhis could be cool"

"I mean..." She leans over, and casually picks up the end of the couch.

One-handed.

"Okay... YOU get the heavy furniture" He says "For Piper I mean"

Shrug. "I can help, sure."

"So are you planning on staying for a bit?"

Forehead crinkle. "Honestly, if you aren't, then we gotta work on getting you hooked up with the locals wherever you go..."

"I.. from what I hear of this ignorance thing, this is probably the best place for me to be... otherwise I could risk folks with a lessbelievable story"

"Yeah, you got the basics. Secrets keep us safe."

"But, like I said - Wayburtons are good people."

"Thank you, Dame Dagmar, that means a lot " The professor does not seem to be joking.

"It's definitely easier, having folks in the know. When I first chrysalized, I was staying with mortals."

"How'd that work out?" he asks

"Not great, it was complicated having to hide stuff."

"My parents are trolls, now."

"YOu got some high ceilings at your place I bet"
