"She's fighting Nazis now?" over the sink working with her husband.

"Yes" Jaymes says to Tove that morning "Neo nazis. They're like Nazis but slobs and apparently not as good at fighting"

He dries as she cleans

"Could you get that silly grin off your face about this? She could have been hurt" Tove says

Jaymes 'silly grin' is no more than a twitch at his left lip, but for him, it counts

And he grunts ("She had help. And she had it handled.")

"I'm more worried about the mortal authorities" A sigh

"Mm" he concedes

"We can't rely on Anne Marie for everything. If it goes south, we have to be able to protect her. And yes, busting her out is fine, but she's worked hard to be Sam King and I won't have her have to relocate elsewhere.. She loves Rivervale..." Tove says

"Won't happen" he promises

"I'm... leaping to bad places in my head aren't I?" she sighs

"Yes. Think of the good.." he says then raises a brow as he looks out the window.

"WAKANDA FOREVER!" Charges an army of cinematic warriors past the window and off to who knows where

"Oh dear.... May's dreaming about ways out of the racist problems of today I suspect." Tove says

A dry chuckle from Jaymes ("Doubt they can hurt mortals, but if they use a vibranium spear on anyone, I hope it's Neo Nazis")

Tove snerks despite herself.
