"i.. think I'm okay, Adam" Didi says to Adam "But I'm seeing your friends with horns and hooves"

"And they're doing theatre.... needs to work a touch on where to place the emphasis if he's hoping for flare though" SHe adds

"HEY" Zane says hurt

"I don't understand...." mumbled.

She can't help it, she moves forward and wraps her arms around the bum, stink and all. "Please, remember me."

And glamour fills the old body Adam is in...

and he sees her.. and remembers..

A deep breath, and the anxious-animal tension drains out of him.

"Piper?"

"Adam.. are the demon kids gonna eat our faces?"

"Adam?" Her eyes are watering - maybe from the smell.

It takes Adam a long moment to process.....

"I... no, Didi. No, they're friends. Not demons. She didn't come."

"Piper... Zane... there's this guy. He was at the bus station...." Adam produces the ticket from the dumpster. "....here. He took my body, and my stuff. He has my wallet, he knows where I live. I tried to warn my family but... but Lily was pissed and dad blew me off. Can you call? Warn them? Please?"

"..... they'll believe you."

She relaxes a touch when Adam shows recognition, and releases him. Mostly, she still keeps a hand on his arm. "Zane, can your spell find the rest of him?"

"We should get that first, and then worry about how to... fix... them both..."

"it was drawn to him.. his soul.. not sure it will go for his body the.."

He frowns "there's always a way. Dude, ,you still have the Crash of Storm Token? I mean.. was it on you?"

She runs a hand up his arm, checking for the bracer - shaking her head to Zane if it's not there.

"..... he took that too. But call my folks first, please?"

"Yeah yeah.. dude.. your dad probab ly heard a stranger's voice.. so 'blow off' might not be the right word" Zane says "I think I can.." he takes off his own token.. and casts

"Yeah, he did, he said it was a pooka but you can call, he'll believe you....."

"And I found these....." He offers the crystal ball-stuffed bag.

"Dude.. we might be able to trace your body"

"Let's see if we can find you first. No offense Adam, but I'm worried about you. Kyle can protect himself and Lily, and your mom is with the Tragos. They're safe."

"How can I help? " Didi says

"Uh..." A glance at Zane, unsure. "Do you know... whoever this used to be?"

"Piper -please-! Call them!" Adam wraps his arms around himself, taking a step back.

"I... fine, I'll try. No one answered earlier..." But she dials the number again.

This time.. the phone picks up "Yes?"

Does she recognize the voice? Kyle, Lily... Adam?!

"Thank you, Piper, thank you....." His relief is palpable.

It's Mr. Thoms

He turns to Zane "I don't think Didi knew, or knows, Victor. That's what he was calling himself. Here, look.... these magic charts and diagrams and this crystal ball... that crack can't be good, can it?"

She holds a finger up to her lips and takes a step away. "Hi, Mr. Thomas? It's Piper. Is Adam there?"

Zane looks it over "Holy shit.. this is.. mrotal magic. A wizard.. or maybe a wizard wanna be"

Klye says "no. Sorry Piper, he still hasn't come home. Is.. the traggo over? Is my wife okay?" His voice sounds pained

"Mr. Thomas, Brenda is okay. We found a compromise, and she's just fine. But there's something weird going on with Adam. We think someone might be going around disguised as him. If he comes home... please, be careful. He could be very dangerous. Call me. This isn't a joke."

"Wheere IS Adam? Is he hurt? Where do I need to go?"

"He's with Zane and me. We're trying to figure it out. Stay home and watch over Lilly, in case he comes to your place?"

"Adam-not-Adam."

Didi says "wait.. if he was ... I know this town.." She looks over "Adam, where did the guy steal your body? I mean, what location?"

"Bus station."

"He'd go where there was open wif fi so he could use your lap top check things" didi says

"He would? How do you know?"

"Where would there be anything like that these days? Everything is closed, even if it wasn't late at night..."

"Somewhere they'd leave it on all night, and where you can get it from the street, and where there's a place to stay where no one will hassle you."
