"I am great" she says "just tired. "

"You want to nap?"

"Yup. You have fun though. I think your parents are going to focus on other matters besides their parental duties for a bit" She lounges

He strokes her with a gentle fingertip. "Yeah, but I better not. Sucks but if I 'behaaaave'...." he draws the word out for sarcastic emphasis ".... it'll be, you know. Brownie points. Make 'em happy so they'll forget about keeping me away from the apartment, like for good."

She lounges "Your call"

"Figure, if they're distracted like you said and I'm STILL here under fuckin' house arrest afterward when I -could- have gotten out... might make 'em feel like I listened and it made a difference or whatever."

He keeps soft contact with her, petting. "No? Always did before. Something change?"

"Their priorities" Nab says 'Sleepy...nap time'

"Ssh... ok." He draws her red silk cover over her, offering the warmth of his bed as he slides out. "You sleep. I'll be, you know. Around here." And he slips out of the room.

And he gets a text TXT: Zane here. How are you man?

TXT: Basically grounded. You?

TXT: Ah, not to rub your nose in it, but I got a lecture and that was it

TXT: From the apartments anyway. They said they had to talk about other shit but Nab says she distracted them so I can probably do what I want.
