The Greening was wonderful, Stormwake was SOOOO good to tolerate the little ones. Star lived up to her name and acted as a celebrity. Nadeen and she flirted... the food was, of course, great. Dagmar had a wonderful day and slept like a rock after

Her favorite breakfast smells rise up in the morning, somehow even reaching her room

COWBOY CASSEROLE. Well, the smell gets her stirring.

Odin shifts as his person-pillow moves

"mmmrr"

"I know, I know. Mrrrow."

Just so you know, mrrow!

"Mrow." She kisses his head before scooping him n her arms.

Odin the All-Cat endures

She pads downstairs, barefoot, with cat.

Jaymes raises a brow "She's not swearing to the cat"

Odin gives a sound that might be a feline scoff. As if the cat would swear back

And just like that, the date hits Dagmar, the 5th! it's.. it's the day!

"Course not. Cats hold no oaths."

Her father bends down to pet Twobit, who has come up and wagged proudly

"Well, twobit has taken many Oaths" he says "That is why she is so mighty despite her size"

Fathers are odd

"Dogs."

She allows Odin to hop down. He strolls over to his bowl and give an imperious meow.

"Oh goodness sake" Tove's voice can be heard "Will someone else feed his majesty? I'm a bit busy"

"I got it..."

" MEOW" Why is he having to repeat himself?

"Yeah yeah..." A scoop of... kibble!

Kibble? Kibble? what is this?

"It's food."

"It's good for your teeth, too."

Dubious look

A shadowy paw sneaks out from under the cabinet and swipes through the bowl, stealing and scattering a bit of kibble.

Odin roars his fury at this theft!

he didn't want it before, of course, but NOT the point

A return hiss as the paw retracts, and a sullen complaint, "Is rrrrrocks. Not -food-. Odin GOD. Odin deserves.... Chicken."

"Lovecraft!"

"What on Earth is going on out there?" Tove calls out

Out of sight now, but a faint hint of eerie laughter.

Odin looks at Dagmar as if to say "Well?"

And expecting chicken to appear

"No. Kibble."

"Smiiiiiite." Comes a suggestion from under a cabinet on the opposite side of the room, this time.

"Okay, that's enough..." Tove's foot taps...and little flames dance along the shadowy places , lighting up hiding spots

A flicker of shadow as she retreats back into a corner! Eyes widen, then narrow against the light, and she starts violently washing a paw and ignoring Tove furiously.

"You could have some kibble, too."

"Lovecraft, we have a cat to feed. What are you doing here?" Tove says

"Stay at home. MY HOME. Filled with feet." Her eyes narrow and her tail bristles a bit. "Lights on in basement. Boxes. Too busy." She sounds injured and offended.

"Really? Poor Symon must be out of his mind" Tove says sympathetically, "But if you're going to stay here you're going to have to respect that Odin is top cat here"

She craftily purrs, "Top cat does not eat rrrrrooocks. Is named god, is treated like dog." Derogatory obvious there.

Odin's tail thrashes

A ball of fur and fluff charges Lovecraft, and it's not Odin! It's such a sudden rush that it might take even a cat off guard.

"Hey... hey, wait!"

She was washing a paw and pointedly ignoring Tove, and as such is blindsided by Two-bit! A yowl of protest! Hiss! Puff! CLAWS!
