And Lovecraft flees UP, climbing up the nearest tall thing she spies... TOVE!

"Lovecraft! You get off Tove!"

"OW" As the cat groves into a leg and up the side "Darn it, Lovecraft! Down, Twobit!"

Oh the canine wrath and the fury!

She launches herself from Tove's shoulder to a countertop, then disappears off, through a cracked door and out of sight but for an upset mrroooooowl as she vanishes.

"Twobit, stay!" Jaymes says "Sit."

Twobit loves Twolegger Best Guy, and she obeys.

But ooooo that shadow cat has made a fierce enemy this day, one with the blood of WOLVES in her veins!

Wolves I say!

Odin looks at the plate empty save for a few rocks, and knocks it off it's perch "Mreow"

"Well, then be hungry."

Oh, we shall see about this, woman.. oh yes, about this we shall see . Odin hurumphs and goes off. He will time his meowing later when inconvenient

"Damn cat scratched you," Jaymes is looking his wife over.

"yes yes..sharp claws too, you might want to see if Twobit is hurt" She says "I'll get some iodine"

"Oh... oh, that's not good. Yeah, gotta clean it up."

"Mm get a clean cloth for your mother" Jaymes says to his daughter "I'll get the iodine"

"I just said i would get the.." Tove fusses as she is guided to a chair.

Jyames kisses her, and grunts ("let us help")

"Cat scratches can be dangerous. I read it." They fuss.

Tove endures the fussing "oh fine"

"Now that's better..." Once Tove is bandaged.

"I'm going to be fine . Besides, I think its cat bites that are really dangerous"

"Yeah..."

Any scratches on Tove would be just barely scrapes, as her slacks should protect from the fleeing cat. And she wasn't TRYING to hurt her, of course.

Now, Twobit might have a smarting Warning across her sout.

Still, finally... time to sit down to breakfast!

Indeed, Twobit proves to have a groove on her snout, but in true terrier fashion, she really doesn't give a shit

The casserole got a bit cool, but hey, nothing a quick run in the microwave can't fix

And it's Cowboy Casserole! her favorite

And easy to spice up so Jaymes can have his less torch-like.

Left to add her own hot sauce, Dagmar tends to fall about halfway between the two of them. (Baby Bear's is Just Right!)

And the meal goes well.. Jaymes does tend to Twobits nose

Tove smiles "So.. ah, Dagmar, would you like the oath now, or later this evening?" No cat-tastrophe could dampen the thought of that for her

"Um."

Tove shrugs and blushes a bit herself

Jaymes says "Would it be better if I left you two alone when you did it??" it is clear he would love to bear witness, but not if it makes them unconcomfortable

"No! I want you here, too..."

"Just... dunno."

Jaymes takes his daughter's hand "Second thoughts?"

Tove says "I would never make you swear an oath you didn't want, honey"

Though she clearly hopes her daughter has not changed her mind and it shows

"No!"

"Just.. I dunno. Nervous?"

"Not sure if this should be a big thing or just..." She gestures, turning palms upwards.

"Well, you seemed to want small when last we talked. ..but if you like? " Tove offers "We can the oath with just you and me and your father witnessing, small... and then later this week, if you want? We celebrate"

"Invite your friends for a party" Jaymes agrees "I can grill"

She bites on her lower lip and nods.
