Adam steps up, catches, passes it back. "The Cuban sisters?"

"YES, " he takes another shot, this time it goes in "I mean, it was fun, but damn."

Adam sighs. "Lucky son of a bitch." He repeats.

"Not as lucky as I WANTED to be. I think Leya is... get this, turned on when I talk academically"

An eyebrow. "Yeah?"

"Shit, you should be in! What happened?"

"They. .I think they cover for each other.. soon as one looks like she might decide to get really wild the other shows up..and I'm think 'yes, three way' but instead... it's like they cancel out and next thing I know I'm out the door"

"And they're satyrs so they know about your Gift." He ponders. "Divide and conquer?"

"Well, not conquer, but you know what I mean."

"Yeah" he sighs "not that I'm wsithout, but I think YOU get more play than I do and I'm a satyr so..ouch."

"Hey, hate the game, not the playah." Adam grins, a charming, friendly smile.

" 'Sides, I'll vouch for you; you cuddle real good."

"Ha!" He smiles

Adam gestures for Zane to shoot.

Zane shoots! This time it rolls around the rim, and doesn't quite make it

Adam shakes his head sadly. "It's like someone cursed you, man."

"Well, I'm bound to catch a break sometime.."

"I guess Maya on a HARD lockdown, huh?"

"oh yeah. " A sigh "Stupid virus. I.."

walking out in yoga pants and a midriff, Brenda Thomas comes out with a tray of snacks and lemonade "Hey, Zane... son, thought you might be thirsty"

"Oh jeeze, mom....." Adam looks to the skies. PARENTS....

"So thirsty" Zane agrees

And manages to NOT be too blunt in checking her out

"I mean, thank you, Mrs. Thomas" He adds

"Oh please," She lowers her eyes, "Call me, Brenda"

"Dude." Muttered.

"Thanks" He decides to say that again rather than her first name since his buddy is clearly not wanting him to, and he sips "Tastes great."

"Thank you, Zane," She says "I hear you're very accomplished in magical power for one so young?"

"It's.. my passion" He says another deeper drink

"Power is your passion.. how...interesting." She says with an odd pause, then glances over at Adam, "Sure you don't want a drink, Adam?"

"-Magic- is his passion, mom, like poetry is yours and no, thanks."

"Right, magic," she says "well, I'll leave you two to play ball. Have fun" And sshe goes on in, a bit of waggle in her walk? Must be imagining things

Adam is -not- looking. Ugh.

Zane is taking his drink glug glug

Adam dribbles, waiting.

The satyr mutters "Crazy day" then sets the glass down in a safe spot and says "Sooo ... where were we?"

"Maya's on a hard lock down, you struck out with the Cuban sisters.... you see Ricki?" Hopeful.

"Nope. Not sure where she's at, believe me, I checked. Met her dad.. he's cool...thanked me again for our helping with the furniture"

Adam nods. "He's like me, right?"

"Ha, I don't think you've got a barrel gut like that.. I mean, the dude is muscled, but I don't think you want to be too much like him"

The ball is passed around again

"I mean, he's not Fae, but they are? Ricki and Tikki? That dude is ok, but he was all over Eden at the party."

"Didn't know you were into Eden?" surprised, "And yeah, their dad is Kinian"

"Nah, I'm not. I mean.... she changed her look and it's a good one but I'm not into her." A shrug.

"Yeah, Tikki seems to be off the board for the lady attentions" A nod "Cool dude to help us out though"

Adam nods. "We oughta do something for him."

"Huh? Normally I'd say a gift certificate a food place so he could take Eden out, but.. most of them are closed or just take out"

"Yeah." Adam bounces, passes. "Sucks."

"Do you know her at all? What she's into?"

"Not that well, and I feel sort of bad about that. She was always going on about how she was dark and evil...but it turns out her fam was..well, rigidly religious? I mean, I know some cool guys of faith..and gals. But they were ..well.. it's complicated but I'll tell you what I know ...of the raid.."
