"Oh? But not you huh?"

She says with a smile "You look good for a guy in a fight."

"Well, yeah, I got hit but he got -poisoned- or something. Chief fixed me up when she got there."

"Chief's a bit stiff, but she's all right" A nod "What was the reason he wanted you patroling with him? I mean.. Dirk and you are not buds"

"Pffft. Got that right." Adam looks for regular clothes. "Guess he figured he couldn't handle it by himself." A smirk.

"hA" She smiles "Well, glad you guys took it down. We don't need nightmare nervousa"

"Got this." He shows the fang.

"Ooo geez, careful taht looks sharp"

"Oh, hell yeah. I want it to be a stabby thing, if I can get it made. S'why I have it in my hat." He finds a safe place to store it.

"Make a bad ass dagger in the right weaponsmith's hands" A pause "mmm"

"What?" He's got clothes and is pulling them on after dropping the towel.

"Well, Sylvi's boyfriend, Colton, is storm to this troll lodge where the baron ..er Chief is a Dougal, and the guy is a weaponsmith!"

He makes a face and zips up his pants. "That'll cost me."

"Have to wait till I have Glamour to give."

"Well, technically it's a RV ally, maybe that will lower the price?"

He shrugs. "Maybe, but not to nothing, which is what I've got right now. So it'll have to wait." He pulls on a tee-shirt.

"Mom almost had a cow when she saw my voile, but she said she could get it clean. Oh, I'm going to be doubling up on patrols; I guess Hearth Kerri is sick? So people are doing her job, and so other people need to fill in where they leave gaps."

"Hearth Kerri is.. oh yeah, I bet the lodge is on the edge there"

"I guess." He pauses, frowning. "Maybe that's why......"

"Well, she's like a third of their power base. Their leadership and.. why what?"

He shrugs and mumbles. "Dag was there. Kinda.... cold. Not, like, without juice but.... distant."

"Did you talk to her at all?" Curious

"Yeah, you know, hi, how are you, what's up......"

"Huh. I'm sorry, maybe she still has a torch of sorts"

He sighs. "I don't know. I miss her."

She flies over and lands on his shoulder, "Oh easy big guy. Trolls are slower paced.. try not to take it too personal"

"Yeah, I don't. And I'm really glad to be with Piper. Dag and I.... different interests, you know? But I'm bummed if it turns out we're not friends anymore."

"I bet you still are she just needs more time to downshift" A sigh "Ashame we can find her a new boy or girlfriend"

"Yeah.........."

"Girlfriend?" he blinks.

"Yeah" She says "What?"

"You said about getting Dag a girlfriend. Do you think she's gay?"

"Nope."

She says with a smile

"Oh. Ok."

"Sides, If I knew who was what per se they might get mad if I outed them"

"YEah, cool, I can see that."

"I mean, I haven't even told you about your bisexual leanings"

He seems surprised, not repulsed.

She laughs "Gotcha"

He laughs a little. "Nab......"

"I have to entertain myself somehow now and then"

"You getting enough juice from me? You want a ride along?" He immediately is concerned.

"I'm fine. Having a satyress in the house helps"

"Nab, moms. Come on." Adam winces a little. "But good, glad to hear it."

"When do I get to tell them I'm here?" A brow
