Piper is in the girl's bathroom, and hears two girls talking "oh god, it's coming again." Panic in the tone.

"I know, it's so stressful" The other says

She flushes and moves to the sink, eyes on the tap as she washes her hands, but shoots a quick glance over to the girls to see if she recognizes them - curious!

SHe's seen the girls, two mortals, but she doesn't know them well. Lonni and.. oh she forgets the other girl's name.

A friendly smile fixed in place and she makes as though to fluff her curls into place, though she keeps a side-eye on them rather than the mirror. "Hey Lonni, what's up?"

"Oh, hi, Piper right? " She says almost apologetically "This is Sophia"/The other girl nods "Oh you weren't here last year. You wouldn't know. It's.. Sadie Hawkins again. Nearly."//"Do they have that in California?" Lonni asks

A grin - oh good, nothing awkward or biological, though she did have extra supplies in her bag if that was the case. But this is more her forte. "Oh, yeah! I haven't gone yet. We didn't do it in middle school and I missed it my frosh year... but it should be fun this time around. You worried about which guy to pick? I think it's fun to turn the tables on them for once..."

'Yeah but.. last year, I screwed up the courage to ask this senior," Sophia says "And he said.. no. I was like... this door in my face feeling... and when word got out I was mortified"

She snorts and gives a little stamp of her foot - less effective without them hearing hoof against tile, but still, indignant. "Like he'd have the balls to speak up himself. That took guts to ask, I bet. And if he said no, then he's totes not worth your time anyways."

"IT's just.. that's a lot of power," Lonni says "I didn't have the urge to ask. I didn't go at all."

They stare at Piper as if they're not sure if she's crazy or fearless and thinking on if they admire that or not

She gives the two girls an appraising look back, checking them out with an almost clinical eye... Piper herself doesn't stand out much - she's short, and cute, but not stunning - but she does have charisma in her favor.

Lonni has great eyes under those bangs, and while her hair is her own, it's not working for her. Piper might sympathize.

Sophia suffers from 'less on topness'... which isn't wrong or bad, but probably makes her feel self consious. While the cold works against her, she's got good legs though

Neither needs to dress to 'please a man' but if they're hoping to hunt, they're not thinking of fashion bait

"Not that I think you need it, but if you want to gird up and put on your war face, I know that Sylvia has been looking for more models for this makeup work she does. I think she's on YouTube? Lonni, I think with a bit of smoulder you could turn those eyes on any guy here and have them sitting up and begging - you just gotta get your bangs out of the way. Even just a cute clip might do it, if you don't want to try a new style." Turning her gaze over to Sophia. "And hun, I gotta say that we're both in the itty bitty crew, but it doesn't have to work against us. Get a skirt with some shape that shows off your legs - 'cuz it ain't no lie that if you can see it from the front, just wait til you see it from the back, back, back." A grin as she quotes one of her favorite club mixes.

"You wanna scope out the playing field with me? I haven't met a lot of the guys here yet... I'm kinda dating someone, but I don't mind seeing the goods."

Sophia blushes FURIOUSLy, but also looks down at her legs as if she hadn't considered them anything special before, "I guess I..."

"Sylvia is always styling, she'd really help?" Lonni says, she brushes her bangs and looks at hte mirror experimentally "Huh."

'You do have nice eyes, Lonni" her friend says

"I def think so. I was a bit intimidated at first because she's always got her game face on and I'm not much for makeup myself, but she really seems to enjoy it, like it's art for faces, y'know?"

"For a girl who has it all she is kindao f nice' Lonni says, the "And.. sure.. we can introduce you to a few guys."

Sophia coughs and looks at her friend.

"But , not Burt Jackson? Sophia's crushing on him hard this year" Lonni adds

"I was kiiiinda interested in learning more about Clarence. Do you know him? Plays 2nd violin, kinda fluffy brown hair and freckles?"

"Burt?" She checks her memory bank thoughtfully, trying to see if it rings a bell. "Football team? Or am I thinking of someone else?"

"Football team," Sophia says

"You like Clarence? Huh" Lonni says "Well, he's not a jerk at least from what we know"

A nod. "He seems nice, but not quite my type. Broad shoulders, but a bit... meaty? Gotta have someone I can wrap my arms around. Though, there IS something to the idea that he could just hold you up with no effort..." she says a bit slyly.

Conspiratorial nod from Sophia

Lonni smiles...

And there's a bit of glamour as confidence is built up.

And the mirrored moth sits perched, looking, pleased?

"Yeah, Clare is a bit shy, but when he was playing a solo this one time, he got this... like, it was this intensity, you know? As he focused on the music, and I couldn't help but think of having that look, you know, on me. It was kinda hot."

And, she happily chatters with the two for a while - at least until the next bell beckons!

A guided tour will be made, discrete, where guys are given a run down that would do the FBI , Sports Center, and Entertainment tonight proud... while looks are definitely a factor, more important is the character evaluations on who are the creeps in nice clothing, who are the sweethearts in badboy outfits, and more. They totally get musicians being a fair 'thing', and voice interest in her own music... even as they tour the amazing world of 'teenagus masculilnis'

She definitely plays a bit dumb about some of the fae-around-town, curious to see what the popular opinion is on Jimmy, Dirk, and the lot!

Oh that's a treasure trove...and the girls do vary slightly... Jimmy is seen as earnest but oddly forgetable, but both agree he was a sweet heart to ... what's her name? May? Last year. Dirk scares Sophia, but Lonni admits he's kind of got a bad boy vibe she likes... and she suspects he's not sstupid, just direct. Adam is considered a real hunk, but he plays to everyone and they're not sure what to make of that. There's an unspoken agreement that if this was college and they were looking for a hook up..yeah. But boyfriend? Not sure they might get jealous with his flirting everywhere.

"No, just worlds and worlds of no" Sophia says "Sorry"

"He's that gothy kid, right? In all the advanced classes? Yeah, not my type. I'm all about the sunshine and classes I can nap through. TBH though, I've been dating Adam and he's super sweet. Definitely a player, but if he found the right girl, I'd bet he'd settle down. That's not for me, though. I gotta roam free." A laugh!

"You are so bold. Becareful though, Siv flirted with a lot of guys and this one mean girl branded her a slut" One says "Of course, Siv's not in school anymore"

"Oh, man. I wonder if he expects me to ask him to the dance?" Suddenly looking a bit perplexed.

A frown at that bit of intel. "Well, if someone wants to call me that, they can say it to my face... and see me laugh at them. Maybe it's my free-love callie-hippie vibe, but I'm SO OVER the idea that a guy who dates around is a player but a girl is a slut."

"I don't care about the implication, but the word is just pure-distilled nastiness."

Agreement "It's like ... guys get away with being flirts, but girls are expected to I don't know, sit there. Maybe this Sadie Hawkins is a good thing in more ways than one"

"Well, the guys get away with it, but bitches seem to enforce it... remember Ashly?"

A nod to that! "...I think she was before my time?"

THey fill her in, as much as they can...unaware they are relating one of Symon's victories

Piper delights in the juicy gossip, realizing that she didn't know how much she was missing it. She should really sit with Lucia over lunch more...

And yes, in evaluations.. one name does come up she wouldn't have thought of, but probably should have at least from an outside perspective
