then she smiles "Proud Italian Americans. Oh boy are they proud"

"Oh, I loooove Italian food. How's your eggplant parmigiana? " She says, with a slightly affected New York Italian accent and appropriate hand gesture.

"To die for" Lucita says and laughs.

Zane looks at them both "Speak American" then grins "Teasing." He assures Piper "The food there is awesome."

"Well, we should go sometime!" A grin to Lucia. "Rivervale is great and all, but so far a lot of the restaurants I've been to are just so..." A small wrinkle of her nose. "Meat centric. Cali has you there for veggie friendly cuisine. I mean, I'm sure you have tons of meat on the menu at your place, but keep the breadsticks coming and give me one good carby entree and I'm in hog-heaven. Or would that be goat heaven? Either way. Oink oink."

"Well, do you sneer at the dairy? If not, we've got this five cheese meat free lasagna that is fantastic... and if dairy is a no go, we've got plenty of bread and a few veggitarian options."

"Carb up before a game." Adam adds in, past some fries.

"Oysters before love making" Zane says.

Lucia winces and looks at Zane "Really? You had to do that? "

Zane munches a fry "What?"

"Pineapple..." She adds, then stifles a giggle.

"Oysters, really?"

"More for you, Zane. Snot on a shell, no thanks! Not when chocolate will do the trick. Or figs, if you believe the Egyptians.

"Ancient knowledge my friend, Oysters increase sexual prowess" Zane says

"Chocolate, now that I can get behind" Lucia takes fry

"Oysters, chocolate, figs....."

That's when Olgar enters into the fast food restaurant

"Are you making a bucket list?" She giggles at Adam, then straightens up as the unseelie troll enters. She leans over to whisper to Zane, "That's Miss Kerri's husband, right? I saw him at Pennons, but I don't think we've met."

Adam quirks a grin at Piper and then goes wary, and focuses on fries.

The blight faced man strides to the counter to make his order. Oen mortal make room for him and lets him go first.

Lucia nods "Yes, that's Miss Kerri's husband. He's a rover..knight of the way. They kind of keep roads, particularly trods, safe for the rest of us."

Zane grunts "Yeah, he's actually kind of a legend too... not so much as the chief, but almost everyone knows someone who he saved on a trod trip or at least helped"

A nod. "Glad to know he's on our side."

"Glad to see Sylvi takes after her mother in some ways" Zane mutters

"Zane," Lucia fusses "That's not nice."

Olgar places his order, smiles at the scared server hands over food to go.

Lucia blinks "I wonder if Mrs. Davidson knows her husband is getting food from here?"

And then Olgar heads out

Adam relaxes when the Rover leaves.

Zane blinks, and looks at Adam "Dude? What's up? You acted like you owed him money"

"Nah, s'cool."

"No, definitely not cool," Lucia says "Lot of tension"

"What? Nothing happened. Dude got some food, left." Shrug.

"Right. Uh.. Piper, you want tell him about my kiths' gifts?" she says low

She gives Adam a slightly apologetic glance. "It's true. Boggans can read the room. Among other things."

The boggan nods

"Ok. And?"

"And Zane's right. You acted like you owed him money. You were tense. What happened between you and him that had you ready to jump out a window if he noticed you?" She ask "Figuritively speaking mind"

"aaaand, if they say they picked up on tension, they're not wrong."

"Ffft. I'm not running away from him BUT I'm not looking for trouble either. And he didn't give any. So."

"But that doesn't mean we have to pry." She gives Adam a reassuring hand on his arm. "Just if you're having trouble, I mean, isn't that what friends are for? Sappy after school special style."

"The more you know" Zane takes the cue.

"I just wonder what happened in the first place that you were tense at all.. " Lucia says "But fine. fine. I won't pry"

Adam flashes Piper a brilliant smile, and nods to the others. "Ok. Cool."

A woman pulls up, parking in a handicaped space. She moves nimbly enough and when someone complains about she snorts "just be a moment , calm your tits"

Zane observes and frowns "Hey , Adam. Want to see some fairy magic?"

She follows his gaze, and grins. "I do..."

"Sure?"

"Turn a deaf ear no matter what they might say
