He pops it open and finds a sprite for her. He grabs a water for himself.

"Thanks" She says and takes it. "So you're new to all this too?"

"Yeah.... how long for you?"

"Like.. three days" Sheepish

"I mean.. three crazy days"

"Wow.... wow, yeah, crazy. I'm still not used to it and it's been, like, two weeks."

"A vetren" She quips

He laughs, a cheerful sound. "Well, no, not that..... hey, who was the first of them you saw? How's you get Enchanted?"

"An Eshu... I'm related. He drops by, tells these amazing stories, and then is gone again. This time he enchanted me. It was..amazing. Not just for him, he dtravels with this Chimerical Panther."

Jaw drop. "Woah. Really? A panther?"

"Well, a Dream panther yeah... she's beauitful... her fur is like the milky way in an area with no light pollution"

"Awww... that's so cool." Adam really -is- awed. "What's eesh-ooo?"

"Eshu are ..well, they're a traveling kind of fae, 'princes of the road' they will tell you. Named after an African God...which, would freak my very religious muslim parents out"

"Aw, neat!" He grins. "Does that make you a princess of the road?"

She laughs "Are you kidding? Coming here with all you boys is like.. superduper dangerous by my parents standards. I'd be damsel in the dog house if they caught me"

"Yeah?" A cocky grin. "What would they do if, like, you came home dragging me along?"

"Well, I don't think they'd SHOOT you or anything, but my father and brothers would probably try to scare you. So embarrassing"

"Having a good time, Adam? " Emerald says from behind them

"Pfft." He dismisses the danger. "I've seen some stuff alrea.... Hi, Emerald!" He turns with a charming smile.

"Hi, "Emerald says "I was done with my dancing... see you are too. Who is your friend?"

Amira glances over at the read head, and raises a raven brow at Adam

"Emerald, this is Amira. Amira, Emerald."

A third voice speaks up, "How you going to juggle this one, Stud?" Nabuni says hiding behind the back of his head at an angle neither can see.

And she does, thankfully WHISPER that

Adam looks like he's been goosed.

"Hi Amira, Adam asked you to dance yet?" "Ah, no he has not." "SHame that" "We'll I'm picky" "oh? Shy huh?" the banter between the girls has an odd undercurrent

Adam finds his throat and clears it. "Uh. So, yeah, Amira goes to my school. Just, we didn't know we knew, right? Emerald's been doing this a while, bet she knows a lot."

Nabuni giggles softly "You want me to ask Zane to save your ass before this goes south?"

"Oh I'm sure Emerald's very experienced" //"Oh yes, I know what I'm doing unlike some so if you need my guidance"/"I'll be fine, thank you"

"Hey... you guys want to dance?" Yes, he's asking both of them.

Both girls who had been shooting growing daggers at each other, stare at him and.. Emerald goes "wait... you actually think one girl isn't enough for you?"

"Even at a time?" Amira says "Oh my gosh, mother was right about boys..."

Music starts to play, Zane has grabbed a mic and joined in with the guitar guy and some drummer

"Just dance." Adam protests, raising his hands palm-out. " Just... you know. Together. Friends. Nothing else."

"Well you sure didn't come on like you wanted to be 'friends'" Emerald says

"It does seem you were.." A blush "Coming onto..."

He shrugs. "Is that a bad place to start? Sure, look, you're -both- beautiful.... but we don't know each other, right? So.... it being friends a bad target? To start with?"

His charming grin.

"You are full of yourself, Adam and.." Emerald shoves him towards the dance floor, "I don't think you could handle two women with ANYTHING. Right, Amira?"

"I very much doubt it," Amira says but she sways along

Adam staggers back, dropping to his butt ignominiously.

"HEY!"

BIC: Everyone seems to be dancing or flirting ...as the music goes on..

and it seems almost as if the two girls want ot 'teach him a lesson' by dancing in front of him... Emerald is the better dancer, but Amira is loosening up and looking pretty good too.

Adam, very aware of what he likes, gets back on his feet and joins them. His White Boy shuffle was a starter. He's got more moves than that (yes, practiced and based on music videos but....) and he breaks out a few, turning from Emerald to Amira and back.

The girls seem to have decied to let go their inhibitions..attracted to him, also irritated with him... they sway and tease a bit more boldly.
