"No, mom, thanks, just tired....."

Yeah he really doesn't need to see his mom right now, "Okay. Should I check you for fever?"

"Nope! Just tired, mom, long day, thanks! Night!"

"OOKayy..."

A certain she devil giggles , "That's the danger of beer goggles huh?"

"Nab, shhhh....." then he groans "Jeeze, what a night. Man."

"She's not enchanted, she can't hear me, just you." Nabuni grins

"Yeah, well don't -go- enchanting her, ok?"

"Why not? want to keep this world all to yourself?"

He lifts his head. "Huh? No. Just.... I mean, this stuff doesn't interest her. And she doesn't need the headache."

"Now I might agree with the headache, but you never know what will interest folks. Still, random enchanting can get even Chimera in trouble. You, dear fellow, play dangerously. TWO girls?"

"Why is everyone freaked out by that? My old school, girls danced together all the time. You know, a group of girls who are friends, not anything kinky."

"Yeah, but did they dance together with lots of them and one guy?"

"Sometimes."

"Well, around here it might have looked more like you were hoping for horizontal dancing with them if you know what i mean." she says "I blame the media. The masculine libido is often villifiied so that women assume the the bad men are all serial kidnappers or worse, and the good ones are still horn dogs" Tsk "of course, you're 16 so... hormone levels heavy"

"Hey, if they wanted to I wouldn't have said no!" lingering frustration "But.... you know. Not a bad start I guess."

"Nope. Things went well..though Zane helped you out there. PRetty good wing men, satyrs. when they want to be. And I'm not blaming you Adam. shoot... the girls aside you played it cautious on talking too freely and so on until doors were opened. Very true to your word there"

A shrug. "Still not sure it was a good idea to go, or stay... but.... " A carefree grin. "Hey, it's over now. And I had a good time."

"You did!" She grins tiny smile, that on a full grown woman would be much wider

"I think it was good for you. Let you see that the Dreaming and changeling life isn't just the freehold."

"Yeah...." he stretches his long and lanky teen frame. "Hey.... don't mess with my dreams tonight, ok? No... adding stuff."

"Oh, if you're mom is in there, don't blame me, blame the greeks" She holds up her hands.

"What do Greeks have to do with my mom?"

"Oedipus Rex, look it up" she says "or don't.. you might be happier if you don't " Nabuni says "No, you're probably going to dream about Emerald and Amira together... totally going wild, giving you a show..."

He -groans- "Naaaaaaab......."

"NIIIGHT" And off she goes.

"Oof." Adam throws an arm over his eyes and mumbles.

Adam sleeps and dreams...

Thank god, nothing greek.

Adam wakes for school, enticing dream visions sadly -just- out of reach. He cleans up, dresses, and goes downstairs to eat.

Soemthing feels off ...are the colors a bit less bright today?

Adam frowns, noting... well... something off. Eats his cereal and heads to school.

And off to school he goes...

When he gets there, he sees..oh man, it's happening again. There's the Asian American girl with the forked tongue walking by.

Double-take, look away... wait, was she cute?'

Kinda... he's seen hotter.

"Hey man, " the guy with horns walks up. Wait..zane?

"Zzz... Zane?"

"Yeah man I.. oh" he realizes the glow is gone "yeah. hell of a party last night huh?"

Adam remembers dancing with some girls..but the details are spoitty

"I, uh, I..... yeah. Yeah, it was cool."

"Yep. Looking for Emerald, or Amira? " Those names ring bells..yeah, he met a redhead and this middle eastern girl

"Uh.... Amira goes here, right?"

"Yeah, both do." He says with a smile "just.. take it slow with which ever one you choose man" A grin and pat on the shoulder.

Dirk walks by, folks clearing a path for him.

"Dude.... who has time to take it slow?" With a grin back that fades to 'nothing' as Dirk wafts by.

"Ha" Zane grins "Well, can't blame you." He notices the expression shift, then looks over to see Dirk going past and then ahead "Ah. Dirk. Just stay out of his way and it's cool."

Adam shrugs and has cause to turn away, getting stuff out of his locker for the day.

Zane gets his own stuff, "Anyway, I forget, you have try outs yet for a sports team or anything yet man?"
