Emerald turns, "Sure dont' A blush And she takes his arms "But ah, don't expect the same level of fire works everytime huh?"

Zane watches this No Lecture? No moral judgement? Wow. There is not one drop of troll blood in him

Adam holds her and sways. "No, that's cool. I get it."

"Uh. Are we ok?"

"Well, that was kind of a jerk stunt trying to move on two girls at once" She says "A woman likes to feel special you know? not like hey, if not you, the next will do"

"I'm new to a lot of this, right? And... you know... you want to be special for me?"

"We just met. Bit soon to decide that" She says

As she dances with him, fairly boldly, though not as much as a moment ago.

He holds her close. "That's what I was saying when .... well, yeah. Ok."

"Yeah..well.. just how many girls do you have eyes on?" A grin though as they squeeze together now during the dance.

Adam takes in a breath from her hair. "Right now? Just you."

Redheads blush almost violently "Well..."

"You're a good kisser." Whispered.

"You're darn right I am" she grins. "But you'll have to settle for what you got earlier."

"Maybe another night ..." As the dance finishes

A confident grin. "Maybe." He lets her go.

She puts a bit of waggle in her walk and heads off.

Zane says "That was fun huh"

"Damn....." Reverently.

"Dude."

"yeah?" Zane says with a grin. Looks like the party is ending, or more accurately splitting up. Couples heading off, some friends gong to other places , the Gloaming is, after all, a temporary thing

Adam scans around for what, in later years, might be called 'beer goggles'......

He does see a pair of goggles actually...

"Hey...." He heads towards them.

"huh, wonder who those belong to?" Zane says but no one seems to be stopping to pick them up.

Adam picks them up. "What are they?"

The goggles are actually pretty cool, kind a bronze steam punk thing.

"Well, clearly goggles. I'd say beer goggles, but we didn't have any beer here."

"Huh." Adam puts them on.

Hey even the average girls look hot.

"Woah. Dude."

"They look good huh?" He says

"Yeah......"

"Cool. Party is breaking up, man. You good?"

"Yeah, cool, thanks Zane....." Adam hones in on the cute girls. As far as he can see.

Well, even they are leaving most in the company of other guys and soon, he's standing alone... probably time to go home.

With a sigh.... disheartened.... he does.

He heads home, driving... and enters in.

"Adam, you've been out late. I thought you got out at six?"

"HUH?"

His mother approaches, "I thought you got off work at six PM?" And he looks up and..aarrrgghh

"Adam," His mother sways wearing ..her outfit looks like it will fall off and her curves are all... ack

"If you're going to be coming home late, Let me know okay? "

"Yug. Yuh. Yes. Yes." And he goes to his room.

"And come down for dinner I'll'.."did she just chang her voice to husky "heat it up for you"

"Yes. MOM!"

Slightly strangled..... and eventually, during a COOL Shower... he figures out what might be going on.

The shower patters off his goggles.
