Aiden nods to Nadeen, he had been keeping an eye on her as well. "Their house produces some peerless warriors, but their lack of loyalty to one court or the other makes them a bit of a wildcard."

Contact information exchanged, Earl parts graciously to return to Zara, and whispers ot her what he learned

"I think I've been around Fiona too longg, her story touched my heart"

Siv moves to Coradel "Okay, thank you for the coconuts, so to speak"

"Well, use them well. I'm surprised you want them, actually -- do you currently live in a place that's large enough to get away from the noise of children enjoying those things?" A grin.

A sad look "Ah, no kids where I'm staying"

"But there are plenty of kids at the lodge and farm" She puts a smile up on her face there

A curious look at her sad expression. "Lady Captain, you are positively morose. Here..." she takes a glass of wine from a passing server and passes another to Siv. "And after the auction, you must tell me more about your difficulties."

"I think parts of it would insult you, Baroness"

"Insult me? How on earth?"

Coradel sips her wine. She appears skeptical that insult would be possible.

"Fair enough. And..." she lowers her voice "...the Lord here is an excellent horseman, and exceptionally generous in my experience. The hold itself is quite lovely, though I confess I've only seen parts. Do you come here frequently?"

"No, I really don't. " Siv smiles "I tennnd to prefer the high seas for my trave las you know. "

"And who could blame you!" Coradel beams, but keeps her voice low. "Which makes me wonder why we are whispering about what I think of Silverwolf?"

Zara might be eavesdropping, if one notices her expression!

Siv looks towards 'Talia' to see her facial expression

Siv laughs, "Sorry, missed you both " then she looks back and speaks at Coradel "Have missed you both. And yes, lots of drama here tonight. Larely brought by their fledges" A chuckle

Coradel didn't see 'Talia's' expression, but she saw Siv's reaction, and that was enough. A soft laugh, then another sip of wine. "Well, Lady Captain, you know you are welcome to visit EarthRunes at any time. Perhaps run some of our young ones up and down the obstacle course?"

"Oh I should ask, how are your fledges doing? Getting closer to the naming for some "

"Certainly so! But...oh, of course you've heard the news about the Namer?"

"The Namer?" A brow "Which one?"

Clearly she has not heard

"Jeomry. The one who was officiant the night that Adam...well..." she waves that unpleasant topic off and takes another sip.

"Oh.. yes I do recall him. What's the news about him?" Siv asks

"Dead!" she says with a hushed tone of scandal. "There seems to be some dispute about exactly how he came to his end, but it certainly wasn't natural."

"Oh wow" Siv is startled "May he return whennn Da'ann is ready" Respectful

"As you say," Coradel says, toasting with her glass before taking another sip...but her heart doesn't seem to be in the sentiment. Siv might recall that Jeomry blamed Coradel for Adam's 'lack of readiness.'

"Oh right, bit of a douche was he?"

"I can't speak for anything beyond that night, but...well...if foul play was involved, it seems others would agree with you there."

"Ooof" Siv frowns

"Maybe I should look into this" Siv ponders. She does spy

An interested look. "Perhaps you should. Of course, there must certainly be others investigating already."

Her eyes light up "A contest ? With the odds against me as I'm behind? Intriguing"

Bemused. "That depends on how you calculate. Especially if the others do not know that you are also investigating," she points out.
