Nadeen looks to her Ailil lord "The Feedbag serves us well" A lower whisper "But with so many of our hold purchasing, perhaps you and I should back off just a bit so they don't think we did this for our own advantage"

"Ah, you are correct. It is only polite." Aiden says to Nadeen. "Besides, I have something for you that I will share later, in private." He murmurs into her ear. And then, he turns a bit pink. He did not mean it to sound so... Fiona-y.  He actually has something! Honest!

Coradel observes this approvingly. She comments to Siv, “Quite the lovebirds, arent’ they? After a fashion, at any rate.”

Siv nods "Aye, I am glad Nadeen found happiness, and he is lucky to have her" Discretely herself. a sad smile "if they can heal each other, Love truly does conquer all" A dchuckle "on a lighter note, that rapping blade got brouht. I think it offended Bluebell"

Zara is a content kitty, curled up with her prize.

“I can’t say I would wish to have such a weapon in hand,” she says to Siv.

"Next up, is a donation from Carthage's own Ace. A silver Lighter, which casts a Will-o-Wisp Cantrip! A handy bauble indeed."

"Yo, Yo! Listen up, girls and guys! Time to bid as the mallet flies! Make your bids, hold your ground, the game is over when 3rd strike sounds!"

"AHEM." The auctioneer glares at the Satyr duo, who take their new sword OUTSIDE to play with.

"As I was saying... Let's start the bidding on this Lighter. Hem Hem."

"A useful thing." Zara whispers. "For those not so gifted, at least."

Gladiola bids , though a lot of her funds are down "Fifty dollars?"

That catches Coradel’s attention and she listens to the first bids.

Art whispers to Thistle, "I didn't know magic swords were this common. Do you think they ALL talk? Maybe the Library in EarthRunes will have historical records about the different types of speaking sword."

He gazes at the Lighter wistfully, thought no more or less than any of the other items. They are ALL fantastic to the new sidhe.

“Sixty-five,” Coradel says.

"65 to the lady in red!"

Thistle shrugs. "Probably some do - but others might, like, be made of flame, or grant flight, or just about anything if you've read different stories."

"Do I hear 100, 100, 80, 80! C'mon now, solid silver, lovely thing, looks like it may even stand up to etching or personalization, let's hear seventy-five..."

"Seventy five" Siv calls out with a grin

A look at Siv, then, “Eighty.”

"Seventy-five to the other Fiona, do we have a cat fight? Lovely lasses, up to 80!"

Vince raises his arms - is he bidding? Nope, just stretching. "I can make my OWN wisps, darlings. Why not fight over me?" He purrs.

A bit of a grin with that look. The battle is on.

Siv smiles back "Let's make it a hundred" A look to Vince and she blows a kiss "You'rre a symptom, nnot a cause dear"

The Gwydion Knight from earlier looks bored, clearly waiting for another auction.

Art nods to Thistle. "Rings would be better, or jewelry, or baubles. You can only carry SO MANY swords..."

"100! We have A one-zero-zero, for a simple treasure, a marvelous treasure, come now, let's not let it go for such a trifle!"

"Unless you had some magic to stick them in a pocket dimension... or, like, turn into jewelry?"

“One fifteen,” Coradel says with a musical lilt.

"Sword earrings would be cool." Art fingers one of his long ears, apparently no fear in wearing traditional-seeming feminine jewelry here.

"One fifteen to the Baroness, $115, less then the price of a good bottle of wine, come now!" the auctioneer cajoles lightly.

Thistle sighs. "Sucks."

Coradel did pause to blow Vince a brief kiss, but her attention is on the bidding.

Siv looks at the Baroness and grins wolfishly "I prefer rum to wine, but..." She calls the aucioner "One hundred and fifty, let's get a bit of money for the charity box eh?"

"One fifty to the Lovely Captain of the Seas!"

Art looks to Thistle. "Could you make earrings? I mean, not treasures, I don't know, but just, any? It's really just wire, wrapped around things?"

She frowns. "I... don't really... jewelry is more... art stuff..."

"Yeah! Art stuff." Art taps himself on the chest with a small smile. "You've got the artistic side, me, I just bumble into things."

Coradel looks surprised, but easily bids “One seventy-five,” with a playful nod to Siv.

Siv playfully says "One hundred and ninety nine dollars"

She rubs the back of her neck. "Uh. Maybe later?"

"Come now, come now!" The auctioneer laughs. "Saving a dollar to tip the valet who parked your ship?"

Art nods. "Oh, sure, later. I hear they make all kinds of things over at that Dark Gate place. We should try to check it out. That odd singing sword came from their forges..."

A smug smile to Siv. “One hundred and ninety-nine…and one cent.”

Art snickers.

Thistle looks torn. "It does sound... I mean, I tried smithing with Willy..."

Adelaide chuckles

Aiden manages to not roll his eyes. Fiona, and their dramatics.

"All bids to a minimum raise of at LEAST a dollar, my ladies." Chides the auctioneer. "Do I hear $250, $225?"
