Siv smiles and bows "Begging your pardon, Auctionner, I'll round it out to 200"

“Fine, then,” to the auctioneer. “Two ten!”

Siv bows to the baronness "no bid"

She had her fun

"Two hundred and ten! Do I hear $250? $250? No?"

A moment waiting for other bids.

"Going once, Twice..."

"Sold! To the Baroness of Earthrunes, for $210! A pleasure, Lady Coradel, congratulations."

Soft clapping from the Baron and a few others in the crowd, they appreciated the flair!

Coradel beams, and she bends close to Siv to whisper in her ear, “My thanks, Lady Captain. You allow me to repay the baron’s generosity before.”

And she goes to claim her winnings.

Siv hears the whisper and nods "All the better, most fierce of lionesses" Whispeed back and off goes Coradel

Siv returns to Zara "I will never ever beat that woman for panache, and I'm okay with that"

"Coradel does have style, aye."

"Aye" Siv smiles "She SO intimidated me when I met her"

"NEXT UP! A pair of lovely lizard - oh, sorry, Salamander skin gloves! Magicked to fit the most slender or robust of hands, and suitable for fine work on molted gold, or brute labor dipped in lava! Shall we start the bidding?"

Linnea turns her attention to the podium...

"Thirty!" Thistle raises a hand.

Linnea raises her hand. "Fifty."

Her spirals are shifting colors, and then they dull at Linnea's bid.

"Seventy five" Adelaide says

Art frowns, and raises his hand "One hundred!"

She hisses. "Art, you don't have no hundred bucks!"

Linnea:

"We have one hundred from Art of Silverwolf..." The auctioneer continues, "Can we hear One Seventy Five, One Fifty?"

Adelaide does not bid

Siv looks tempted. that's a bargain

but she lets it be

Linnea glances towards Nadeen, questioning.

The troll thane fingers the paddle, hesitation.

Nadeen mouths rather than whispers "You're unnnder no obligation either way. It's okay"

"We have 100 for Art, going once..."

And her look is gentle

"One hundred going twice!" Linnea nods to Nadeen, and settles back into her seat.

Art swallows.

He whispers to Thistle, "We have to get something! And these are COOL."

Gwen leans over to art "Do you have one hundred?" whispering

"I know they're cool, but..." Jangly yellow spirals.

Art straightens his back. "I will." He nods, not quite meeting Gwen's gaze.

"And SOLD, to Art from Silverwolf, practically a steal, one hundred dollars!"

The nocker shoots her gaze over at Linnea.

Gwen takes out some money and hands it to art "I can't believe.."

He bows low to Gwen. "I will repay you. With interest!" He glances towards Linnea as well, but the Thane's look isn't readable to the Fledges.

Nadeen has moved to Linnnae, "My savior and thane, are you okay?" She says softly

"I have thirty.. I can get fifty?"

She fishes out her wallet, pulling out a mix of fives and ones.

Gwen can read Troll, and as good as overhears Linnea speaking to the Baroness.

"Baroness. I am well. For a moment I thought I needed to prove something... but it was a silly notion." She has relaxed a touch. "It will be good for the Fledges to learn how to properly use and care for a treasure of their own."

Gwen sighs "Arthur, you.. your heart was in the right place but... " A shake of her head to Thistle "No, this is on me. I did it to spare the hold embarrassment, but you know? You two have been cool and.. loyalty to each other like this should be rewarded. It's good"

Art collects the wrinkled bills, and looks to Gwen. "Should we not repay all debts?" A curious look.

"I'm the one that wanted them..."

nadeen nods to her Thane "You need not prove a single thing. To me, nor to anyone else. If you have need or desire, turnn to me, and I will try to provide; lieges must give too"

To Thistle, "I found some bills under Art- under my bed as well. I believe they were hidden, within a birthday card from an elder family member. I know not what he was saving for, but I cannot imagine it better spent than on a treasure. I will add my Twenty."
