A frustrated huff and she sits down to glare at the offending join.

Willy watches, leaned back against the counter. "Hangnail."

"She calls me Egg" She tells Thistle, but there's a tone of.. permission?

"Month-old milk."

She gets the screwdriver, to take the casing off and put it back on again.

Willy sighs. "Check the other side. One side don't sit flush, might be the other side is dorked."

A slow nod. "Guess that makes sense." More fussing.

"That don't work...." she takes another bite and talks around it "Might could be if the gears inside don't sit just right, only a hair off, they could be pressing it outta whack."

"But, that doesn't really hurt the performance does it? Just makes it a bit trickier to store?" Not sure what the big deal is

Willy rolls her eyes at Gwen "If the gears inside don't sit right, they grind to powder inside, gum up the rest of it, break it down, and oh, I'm no cook but I'm -pretty- sure that's not good eats."

A great deal of fussing... and now the other side is slightly out of flush.

The original one, however, seems fine.

"Gears." Willy judges.

"Okay so ...there must be someway to balance em?"

A frustrated noise from the fledge. "I don't get it..."

"Work and learn, ya Dislocation."

A frown, and she starts taking apart the motor she had spent hours rebuilding.

Gwen settles down and offers tools up again as directed, tools for general use

Willy peers closer for a moment. "Check the grub screw. Or don't." She takes another bite.

"I checked it, It should have worked."

Willy may find that now that nevers are leaving her alone, she's getting sniffed at by Ivan

"Piss off, fuzzy, or I'll turn you into a saddleblanket." absently.

"Clearence?" she asks, checking.

Ivan gives a wag as if he thinks the nocker is ADORABLE but he does cease sniffing

"You look." She pulls back.

Gwen mmmphs and steps to allow more room, drawing Ivan with her

"I don't wanna look, it's your shit. You fix it."

"Not like a little offset on the housing makes a difference, as long as the gears are straight."

"But if it doesn't fit, then something's wrong."

"Not if it works. Check the gears, button it up, grow a set of balls, and throw the swich."

"It DID work." Frustrated.

"Well then... "

"I tested it before I closed it up."

"It did seem to run pretty smoothly"

"So stop second guessing yourself, you Pancreas!!"

"But it should fit."

"Well, you've made adjustments, want to test it again?"

She scowls, and flips the switch again. The mixer whirrs to life, humming and ready to go.

"Take cover." Willy drawls.

Katrina flips it off. "I don't see it."

Once the mixer is unplugged, she starts to unscrew the motor from the housing with a mixture of frustration and disappointment.

The Nevers make unhappy noises, and fly away from her.

Willy has found an apple to eat. "She's gonna be at that a while, Eggs. I mean, if you got anything better to do, like watching paint dry."

The creatively-engineered food mill attachment is pried off next.

"I admit, I'm not much help beyond fetching stuff or lifting, but I figured I should be supportive" She doesn't fuss about the nickname eggs

She dumps the food mill adapter in the trash, and settles in to quietly take apart the motor a second time.

"Welp, I'm outta here." Willy tosses the apple core away. "Got shit to do."

Katrina's working in silence, and not paying attention to the other two.

"SUre thing..." She nods to see Willy "Nice to see you peek your head out from time to time"

"Thanks. Always amazing to think how you got your head in, or out, of your ass with those horns. See ya."
